I casually and passively like to watch those xgames on my spare monitor while playing , and then i got amazed in a way it never hapenned before. Scotty is my idol. I suffered a similar injury, not to his extent. I had a spinal cord injury about 3yrs ago and was paralysed from the neck down. It’s been a long and difficult road but seeing scotty and keeping Up with his progress really boosted me up.

i dont understand these judges... I see a run that looks stellar and gets a mediocre score that is beat out by some half assed safe run way too often...

Well I just wanted to say Congratulations to Kevin Peraza for winning the gold medal in park. He has 2 gold medals in 2 events for BMX. He did a great job for representing the United States.

So are the judges just in love with Peraza or what? Was his second run sooo god that he could get a 90 even with a slip up? And Dhers throws down and gets an 82 and Martin throws down harder and gets an 87? Even if the judges are obsessed with "flow" as opposed to who throws the biggest tricks, Dhers and Martin had plenty of flow. So is the difference the table tops on simpler tricks ("style") or superman seatgrab that all those guys can do, or the nose manual? What a joke. To a casual sports viewer it just looks like "why the hell did this guy win?"
