Hey everyone! Today we’re showing you how to go from curly or wavy to straight, smooth, and shiny hair! This can all be done at your local Salon, and of course right here at Daniel Alfonso Men’s Salon in just about an hour depending on hair length. Just ask for a Brazilian Blowout! In this video featuring our stylist Greg Buchl and my good friend Alex Costa, we’ll show you the whole process from beginning to end and give you information on how it works, what to expect, before and after pictures, and much more. I'm getting this done in a few days. My waves are pretty nice when they are short but I tried straightening for the first time and it was super easy to manage and style my hair. Would be absolutely clueless if it weren't for channels like this!

@Daqan Sutherland honestly i cant remember the exact cost I didnt go to a salon i bought product I think it was between £20-£30 and it did work very well i could flip my hair for the first time in my life. It hardly lasted a week however because i wasn't maintaining it properly since i was washing it a bit too much without the product and rubbing it back. Simply, its too much hassle for me and I prefer my hair short. Since april 2020 ive been cutting my own hair and giving myself skin fades and the top is a bit too short to attempt it again but i would highly recommend doing it at least once but following the guidelines to maintain it.

couple questions. First: I never saw anything applied to your hair. Just saw it get washed, blowdry, and washed again. At what point was the Brazilian blowout stuff added? Second, it stays smooth and straight even after you wash it? Or do you have to blowdry it straight everyday? Finally: what kind of chemical is it? Is it just another type of relaxer that completely destroys your hair?

I would personally say the Brazilian blowout is better, ITS MAGIC I have thick curly hair and it transforms my hair to thick straight hair, even after I wash it with shampoo and water.

Looks great, but if you use Men's Rogaine extra strength & propecia to help keep what you have & have almost a full head of hair, can you still do the Brazilian Blowout? Does the blowout cause hair loss??

Shane Peters I guess for white people that's curly hair. I brake brushes and combs good sir. I have to comb my hair out everyday with conditioner so it doesn't turn into dreads. I have the Corbin Blue high school musical hair.

I NEED HELP - Hopefully someone can help me, in the video he says it cost $100. Is that for the solution and everything needed to maintain it? I looked it up online and the solution alone is around $150, not mentioning how much the barber/hairdresser would charge to do it. Or should the barber/hairdresser already have what you need and you pay them all in once. Thx you in advance, this so confusing

GoTurbo Tube Haha, ik right? I guess everyone charges differently, but the average cost is definitely more than $100 and the products you'd need to maintain it would just add to that. I'd just ask hair salons around you and get an estimate/ idea of products they use

I would say get a haircut from your regular barber first, then go to nice place where they do this treatment. I got it done from NYC and the total came out to $120 with the products like shampoo and stuff. I have thick wavy hair which are quite hard to manage so yeah go for it it’s worth getting a Keratin treatment. Good luck

Eric The Problematic Child I just had this done. They offer 3 levels of treatment: the lowest is just to combat frizz, the second is to leave some of the curl, but you can’t jump in the ocean like he mentions in the video, the 3rd and most powerful is best for really coarse curly hair. I went for the strongest and couldn’t believe how free flowing my hair became! It’s not pin straight, it has plenty of bounce and body, but it’s smooth and soft. The best part is being able to wake up in the morning, and style my hair in under 3 minutes with zero product. It’s $100-150 plus tip at most places if you have an undercut, more if they have to do the entire head.

You can get the same shit by taking the 'Brazilian' out and just use a blow dryer the proper way. And stop marketing Alfonso, he was on youtube and now he uses his friends to promote his salon which do haircuts for like 100$ when they're worth 10$ Ps: You have wavy hair, not curly. Black people have curls and it's harder for them to get it straight.

It's a perceived luxury, like getting a gucci bag or buying supreme, you know it's not that it's better or anything, but if you have money and feel like flexing or feeling like top shit then you drop $60 on a haircut. Not worth it, but it markets to a target demographic.

Ok I know Alex always get an undercut but personally I don't like the undercut. Seeing you with longer hair in this video makes me think you would look sick with long hair.
