According to prosecutors, Walker and Kohlhoffer were business associates with Cruz Garcia and Corbin Gingrich, two people who have already been convicted in connection to the case. They allegedly illegally sold marijuana. Kohlhoffer and Walker supplied Garcia and Gingrich with marijuana, who would then sell it. Kyshawn Pittman was friends with Kohlhoffer’s nephew and Ke’Marion Wilder was dating Gingrich’s niece. In November 2022, homes associated with these four defendants in the case were broken into. Walker, Kohlhoffer, and Gingrich’s homes were robbed, and Garcia’s mother was reportedly robbed at gunpoint. Prosecutors say the defendants believed Wilder and Pittman were responsible. The boys were attending a party at Maumee Bay State Park on Dec. 3, 2022. When someone there noticed one of the teens had a gun on them, they were asked to leave. They took an Uber to Gingrich’s house on Maumee Street. Wilder was dating Gingrich’s niece, so he was frequently there. Once the kids were in the basement of the Maumee Street home playing video games, Gingrich allegedly contacted Cruz Garcia to say he had the boys. Gingrich and Cruz then confronted Wilder and Pittman about the alleged thefts. The boys were tied up, beat up, and had duck tape placed on them. Prosecutors allege the defendants walked the boys to a vehicle and put them in a trunk. They were never seen alive again. They allege it was Walker and Kohlhoffer who drove the teens to a house on Chase Street, owned by Walker. Prosecutors said Walker owns most of the homes on that stretch of Chase Street.

They stole from two drug dealers this was not about whistlin at white women. These kids were too young to be dealin in the streets and thought it was wise to come up on dangerous drug criminals. Much worse happens to people in Mexico who steal drugs from the higher ups
