Menno's stuff simple, smooth and clean. It does not look hard because that's the point he reaches after hard training. He controla each level, high , medium and low, from left to right, up and down, and back and forth. He divides a simple steps as a halo and transform it into a different step, that's why we wont see the whole halo or a whole windmill, and also that's original.

Seriously, sit back and fucking enjoy the show. Even if YOU think the judging was rigged, YOU WEREN'T the one who lost so you have no right to feel bad about the judge's decision. 1) You weren't there so you couldn't feel the energy or see the smaller details 2) ALL THE JUDGES are qualified 3) RedBull isn't even a real breaking event...

Just feel like pointing out how dope it was seeing the music literally take over Thesis and bring him out to go first. You can tell his breaking is more than just moves, it's on a spiritual level that most people can't understand. Great battle between two true artists.

menno won, i know thesis style, doesnt mean it translate well in every battle. very talented is thesis but his sets were short and you can see some sloppy spins (maybe an off day thesis is awesome) but give menno credit his sets were great, why the menno bashing? because thesis lost?..grow up

Menno was more consistent with his flow & his energy was more to the beat. Maybe Thesis had better top rock but that was basically it? You can see how in his second round he missed his freeze at the end & Menno kept clean & fresh both rounds

I guess that's what happens wtih this kind of competitions and that's one of the reason why I'm startimg to dislike Red Bull BC1, cus ppl wants to see a breakdancer and not a B-boy. I mean, training is important to do crazy stuff but they are only practicing stuff that already exists, they just have to practice and that is it, but how bout creating new stuff? In some underground battles you will see ppl almost fighting because of originality. In top of that, back in the latest 70's and in the 80's nobody wanted to use someone elses stuff, you know na' mean? Creating new stuff nowadays is really hard cus there are a dozen million's b-boys and b-girls out there, you have to be different, be creative.

Thesis was the only one telling a story from start to finish...although both of his rounds were short, I still feel that he won over Menno's "slip-n-slide rumble n tumble" dance moves is no where near the science of Thesis executions. POW!!!! lol

Aurkus23 Yeah, I suppose they can, but they're not gonna win bc one doing that.. I take it you're implying that's what Menno was doing and.. that's just being ignorant.. Although I feel like Menno got lucky to win the whole event, and that the judges were pretty generous, I felt he was dancing amazing on the day, and I had no problem with the result personally.. Plenty of rounds/battles that could've gone one way or another, a few I disagreed with, but whatever... 'Tis the nature of the game. This battle, round 1 to menno for sure for me.. Round 2, was generous from the judges, but I thought Thesis was looking a bit stiff in this battle.. Guy's a beast, but I don't feel he was robbed... Peace.

poor thesis, the best U.S bboy who never won a BC title due to the moronic judging system, he's the best U.S bboy hands down, the only all around, none one dimensional bboy from the U.S, a pure technician, he can do a little bit of everything and does then really good, and I don't recall ever seeing him being awake in any music genre thrown by any DJ. It's all good Thesis, you are always people's champion. Forget about Red Bull BC and keep dominate BOTY UK and other real bboy competition.

Lol u giving Thesis a pity vote? Menno won, and according to this he won 9 out of 10 votes. I think you need to check the scene more if you think all bboys from USA are one-dimensional or Thesis is the only bboy that can hang. Here in the Bay alone we got some of the best bboys in the world.
