Menopause Consultant for the Workplace Amantha King and Avanti West Coast Head of Employee Experience Amanda Young join Green Signals to talk about what the train operator is doing to support menopause.
There are also some surprises in the impact that menopause also has on men, just showing that it is something we should all understand better.

Thank you so much for letting us all know what the real facts behind the story were. Also for expanding our minds about this under-reported issue, and what is being done to improve things. Just as an aside, did you invite someone from ASLEF? - I'm not a member, but a quick look at their website shows they have a Women's Representative Committee, and this is a para from the site: "Examples of work of the women’s representative committee in recent years include campaigns on menopause as a workplace issue and contributing to the Mind the Gag on workplace banter. They have produced reps guides on domestic abuse, supporting women at work and the menopause. Industrially they have called for improvements to toilet facilities" Anyway, congratulations for another great episode - look forward to the next!
