Head Noise.... that fuzzy distracting endless rabbit hole of thoughts that sometimes becomes almost to much to bare, leading to anxiety as pressures from the fast paced world we live in wear away at our sanity.
It's no secret I've had my share of battles and in this episode I set out to silence my head noise and I cant think of any better silencer then the hit of a monster Murray Cod.
I set out to Burrinjuck for a solo overnight session and with the weather, moon and barometer all lined up the big winter Murray Cod that call Burrinjuck home are on the chew.
This is an unreal session which silenced my head noise well and truly and if you to are having troubles then maybe you should try Murray Cod fishing and see if it works for you.

Hey Dan quick question, I’ve been looking around for the exact Yamaha PFD you’re running in this video. I like and use the canvas style fabric built style. Pretty sure the only ones in stores are the polyester models. Where did you purchase yours? Thanks mate.

@@mylurebox I got them from Riverina Marine Centre in Wagga. I’m sure they’d be able to get you sorted.

Thank you mate. I’ve just gone looking and found em online. Been doing a fair bit of night fishing recently so having an auto inflate is probably a better option for me and my mates. I appreciate you getting back to me to help Dan. 👍

@@mylurebox too easy mate, I fish at night on my own a bit so it’s a bit of extra piece of mind, especially for my wife.

Fantastic stuff Dan! It couldn't get any better surely! Really love those screen recordings, would love to see more of that.Do you think any form of lightning on the deck ect puts them off at night?
@DanWebberFishing
@DanWebberFishing 2 күн бұрын
Thank you. It’s been a great season up there, water conditions are great and the big cod have taken advantage of the masses of food available. I have hours and hours of recordings, I guess I could put some edits together with some of it. Any light is unnatural especially on a dark night and so I try my best to keep light off the water as much as possible.
@akhector
@akhector 2 күн бұрын
@DanWebberFishing yes conditions must be optimal for those sort of results!More livescope footage would be great.Navigation lights would be pretty unatural also,Can't remember what you have to have on when stationary.Maybe an infared camera could be the go to get that nightime footage.Keep up the good work.

Hey dan i hear ya ad far as clearing all the head noise, just a question i dont have the livescope or active target as i cant afford it, evan at night is your retrieve super slow or do you speed it up a bit, as i said i dont have the tec so i am fishing blind and are plastics only good if you are using livescope, thanks col
@DanWebberFishing
@DanWebberFishing 28 күн бұрын
Hey Col, thanks for your message, it can get very noisy at times. Definitely keep it slow at night and plastics are definitely still a top option without the use of live tech. These fish are incredibly in tune to bait movements when they are feeding and can feel the paddle tail and body roll of the big plastics from many metres away well before they see them.
