Dear Nurse Nancy, I hope you can see this message or someone tells you about it. Your videos helped me get a 93 on my first osce and I am now using them to study along with my flashcards for my second osce. I just wanted to say thank you for these videos, they have been a lifesaver for me, I watched them so many times in prep for last osce I almost entered an osce station and said i was nancy from hartford college lol. Anyways thank you so much all the way from Canada.

Overall great summary video. My couple of tips regarding the eye CNs: It's hard to tell on the video with the angle, but make sure to test confrontion visual fields in the 4 quadrants not crossing or on the horizontal or vertical midline. Extraocular muscles are best assessed on the physiologic H pattern to detect nerve palsies. Pupil constriction should be assessed direct, consensual, and for an APD. Accommodation can be assessed without convergence by just looking from a distance target to a near target and watching the pupillary constriction. Obviously looking at the optic nerve with a direct ophthalmoscope is great as well.

I know this is old, and the actual mechanism is more complicated, but the pupillary reflex mainly involves cranial nerves 2 and 3. Thanks for the helpful videos!
