Mental health issues can affect anyone, regardless of how they look on the outside. They can stem from various factors such as genetics, life experiences, trauma, or biochemical imbalances. I've had many relationships fail, have been physically and emotionally abused and cheated on. You're also assuming that I like what I see in the mirror. While my self esteem is much better than it used to be, it took a LOT of work. I was the outcast in school who never had a date and the guys I pursued as an adult rejected me, several telling me they were out of my league. I have looked in the mirror and cried many many times. I assessed what I could change and acted accordingly and worked on accepting what I couldn't through therapy and personal development. You have that same power!
