I have had a couple patients recently who presented with erosion. I talked with one today and got them to mention that they have acid reflux sporadically. I pulled this video up and gave it another watch once I got home from clinic to review the topic. Your videos are incredibly useful for learning and have helped me improve my ability to provide quality care for my patients, while also helping me review for the INDBE. Thank you for all of the content that you create and for using your passion for dentistry as an avenue to share your faith in God. You are a blessing.

A dentist may be able to tell a patient has acid reflux,EVEN IF HE IS NOT AWARE OF IT. When the dentist sees enamel on the lingual side or tongue-side of the teeth is eroded, this will lead to the possibility of ACID reflux.

Just an FYI Ranitidine has been taken off the market by the FDA. Other H2 blockers are now used.

Dr.Ryan I love all your videos however I’m just starting and I don’t know which videos to watch first? Do you have like a study guide to help organize the flow of watching these videos

What is the relationship between GERD and Asthma?
@mentaldental4 ай бұрын
It’s not entirely understood why, but it does seem that they often occur together and can trigger one another.
