Instead of saying “i-pray mo nalang yan” to the person experiencing mental health condition, mas maganda siguro na you pray for the person. There is something about hearing someone pray for you. Don’t underestimate the power of prayer. There is a time for everything tho :) there’s a time of prayer, there’s a time to act on that prayer and be a friend to that person with mental health issues.

There is a reason why I like watching MINDGAMES by Claudia because it serves as a safe space for me and my mental health. I am glad that we have these kind of conversations where we can educate ppl the basics or the foundations when talking about mental health. It breaks the stigma that surrounds it and make people more involved. I hope Claudia released more podcast so she can continue helping others. 🤍

This is really a great campaign. A lot of people are scared to speak up or even ashamed to because it's something that is so common but at the same time it's not common for us to talk about these things. So to have this channel to be able to talk things out is really a great start. Like for me I also have a blog where I can write my thoughts, feelings and experiences because sometimes those thoughts are something I want to share face-to-face but I'm more comfortable doing that in writing. I hope that more and more people would be able to open up although it takes a lot of courage to do that. And I hope that people would also be more understanding and willing to listen. We all have different worries. And some people are not comfortable sharing their worries or troubles with others even with friends or families. But to have someone even just one single person, whom you can share all your bottled up feelings and thoughts, is all worth living for. People need to heal and in order for them to do that, they need to be heard. People need each other to care for each other.🌙

I am so amazed and I give you and your mom my highest respect for being raised well. Not all people your age are mindful of the seriousness or the importance of dealing with mental health illness. My mom was a Psychiatrist in NCMH and having a mom with that profession, I grew up having visitors in our house, due to her house calls, with mental problems and sometimes they are of different levels. Some are calm (looks calm), some are agitated(not violent). The social standing varies and one of her patients lives in Multinational village in Alabang and like others, I always ask my mom about her when she seems to have all the luxury in life and she would explain it to me. My mom will always tell us not to show indifference to them but treat them as if there wasn't anything out of the normal. Your topics are interesting and important so keep up the good work and thank you for putting up this channel because this will help people going through a lot.good luck with more relevant content. I will keep on supporting this channel.👍❤

This channel's content is such a gem. Everyone needs to be open about mental health condition. It's commendable how Claudia uses her platform for things like this. Aminin man natin o hindi, it's 2020 na pero taboo parin satin pag usapan ang depression or mental health problems. Kaya dami paring mga tao di nakakarelate, and some people consider to end their life nalang since they find comfort dun kasi kahit sa pamilya mo di mo malapitan and that's really sad

I am thankful that some of you have strong faith to address regarding mental awareness. People around the world are suffering from mental illnesses, they don't burst out because they are afraid to be wrongly judged, misinterpreted, wrenched and bolted from reality. Speak up and let your Voices be heard. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

My journey has not been easy and even though I can say I am already out of the darkest phase of depression, there are days when I still feel sad. These are moments which I think only people with mental health problems can relate to. I'm glad I came across this content because it reminded me of the days when I was able to will myself to seek help and how far I have come since then. Thanks, Claudia for mentioning arts. In my case, rediscovering my artistry was what helped keep me going aside from my family and friends. I was able to create a lot of pieces ranging from Christmas decorations to dish gardens to digital content. Art continues to bring healing to me and I hope someday I can share to others how it is possible and how giving arts a chance can bring so much hope to people like me.

Claudia you are propagating a very relevant issues. You are very articulate in English using appropriate verbiage. This is viewed by not only Filipinos. I strongly suggest that these young kids practice to speak straight English . Refrain combining English with Filipino language. Mental issue must first look at the deeper cause and this starts from the family. Let these people know that God is a the best guidance. You are still young and mental issues can be healed by strong family ties & less pressure to be always on the top.

once in a while its very relevant to watch these kind of videos. with what’s happening with our society, it feels good to learn more about what people is really going through. it’s actually quite satisfying to hear the things you never thought you needed right now. what the you guys said felt so relatable because it opened up some past experiences that people have been, yet wasn’t able to give so much attention about. basically, this kind of videos really help a lot of people. aside from that, i give credits to claudia for using her platform to raise such thing like this because not everyone in her industry does this kind of thing even though there are a lot of chances to do so. plus, i can see how passionate she is with what she’s doing. i didn’t expect that someone like her (cause like ngl she’s like an alpha tho) was just a normal person like me, like us. kudos to everyone who’s putting their effort to help and to raise awareness. i hope there are more people and videos like this to come, it really helped a lot. + to everyone who’s reading this comment who feels stressed or depressed or sad or anxious, we are here for you. you are normal. things will be better.

My friend just sent me this video. Now I realized how important and serious mental health can be after i just recently experienced and still experiencing a very bad case myself. I am currently suffering from my 'intrusive thoughts' for the past 3 weeks, every single day. It only started first with the thought of smoking cigarettes, because I havent tried it ever and i really dont want to. It kept going for 2 weeks and i got so worried because i thought my mind was telling me that I should do it as it was the only way to get rid of it. It really got worse when i realized these thoughts might also apply to suicide or self harm. The next day after that, it got much worse when I realized that I am capable of harming or killing others. It's tormenting and I thought i was going to be crazy for the rest of my life. But knowing and understanding what im going thru is normal (intrusive thoughts) made me less worried but im still struggling to overcome the anxiety and the thoughts themselves. Even seeing a knife, scissors, or just any sharp object makes me very scared. I really think that quarantine life was a big factor in affecting me. Im just thankful i have my friends and family for support. But I think seeking professional help would greatly help. Its just very traumatizing and the anxiety still gets me.

About My Mental Health Sobrang salamat sa pagbuild ng channel na to. It is very hard for me to admit that I have a mental health crisis right now because I feel like people around me will not understand but I know that there's something really going on with me but I don't have someone who can help me with this problem. Im having anxiety all the time, over thinking all the time and Im struggling dealing with my anger management issues. I was thinking of seeking for a professional help a long time ago because at times I feel like I couldn't handle it anymore but the thing is I don't know how and where to start. I know that I need someone to help me understand my condition but I don't know how to start seeking for a psychologist. I know it's a lot to ask you but I hope you could be of help. I also hope that you could talk about Anger Management in your Mindgames channel.

Thank you for all the research-based recommendations you've provided! Hope you continue to use your platform to educate more people and challenge the stigma that still exists to this day. Also, YES to active listening and btw, when a person with mental health problems choose to approach you and open up to you, please know that this is a gift--this means that they are willing to feel vulnerable around you, whether or not you will understand what they are going through. Having said this, if you've recently become that confidante and go-to person to someone who's going through mental health issues, please take the initiative to learn more about what they're going through--this will help you view the person through a well-informed and compassionate lens.

This is very helpful. In my own experience, it's easier to open up to someone who doesn't know you than to your family and friends because they might judge you for having a mental health issue/illness. When you share it with someone who doesn't know you, you can have that confidence that you will be heard compared with your family and friends, they will just tell you that you are just overreacting on something" or "drama lang yan" or "papansin lang", something like that.

I'm an introvert person that's why I thought it is the reason why I am saying no to my friends everytime they ask me to go out, I remember how I think about myself those days I feel like I am selfish and I am not a good friend to them because I don't want to spend time with them but now I realized me saying no to them (a lot of time) is not because of being me (an introvert person) but because I really wanted a "me time" for me to think about things. It is a relief for me that I noticed my self making time for me.

For the longest time, I always try to be or look "happy" and "strong" when I'm around other people. Yesterday, I had a major kinda breakdown in front of a loved one who is asking for my help (sumabay sa bad dysmenorrhea and the way she speaks in panic and shouting). Hindi ko na napigilan na bigla na lang rin akong napasigaw and my tears fell out, though I perfectly understand why she acted that way kasi nga nagpa-panic siya. Medyo normal na rin kasi niya 'yon with situations she can't understand, I think siguro para ma-feel rin ng kausap niya 'yong nafi-feel niya. Ako pa naman medyo I absorb the energy around me. Normally, I get away at the first hint of bad vibes but I stayed 'cause I wanna help her. In a way, that was very freeing not trying to bottle up my feelings. Maganda rin na nangyari 'yon kasi she wouldn't be aware about how I actually feel about her approach to me. After a while when we both calmed down, we said our sorries naman and explained each other's sides para next time mas maayos na. You don't always have to be happy. Let yourself feel things. Being upset at times is okay. And It's okay to not be okay.
