That second is what the BBC actually did. they changed anne Boylenne, a historical english figure black for no reason at all, which made no sense whatsoever. they are also going to change robin hood into a black woman next year. Just so you know, Ariel is not the first character they changed and most of them were gingers for no reason

there is black anne brolin (bolin?) tv series so the bbc has beat disney to it! as has netflix with their queen charlotte spinoff of bridgerton (queen charlotte of england is black in that show). the internet needs to get on that british tv/movie scene baby!

The Chris Pratt one was stupid and uncreative. The Mel Gibson one was out of place, as MLK was a real person. The last one took me out. It’s so unusual how much love racist people can have for dogs, regardless of fur pattern, then turn around and have this grand canyon sized view of the differences that separate whoever they happen to be classifying as white vs. black, at the moment.

The criticism is not fair. Black hollywood gate keepers didn’t conspire to make this. Other white people did. Nice try. Also, it’s a f**king cartoon, not something based on real people anywhere. Well that's because usually their race is important to their character, which is why they'd never be able to do a White Black Panther movie or anything that has them being black important to their character. The little mermaid is about a mermaid who loses her voice, they don't specify anywhere in the movie about her being white because it's not important therefore she can be black The only people upset about this are racist crybabys
