I love the 6" coil on the 'nox, I don't have a nox anymore but it is one of my favorite hunting combos. It is the kind of set I can pick up anytime and just go with it.

Thanks for sharing, I hunt pretty much exclusively with my 6” coil. Watched last night a couple of your earlier coin shooting programs. I hunt a lot of older country spots with torn down houses with lots of iron. Can you suggest a good program?

Coil in question is made for gold small stuff lol . Lethal on gold up there with 900 .

What's your theory with doing a factory reset with every coil change? You say not needed and I absolutely say it's not needed. An extra step that loses your bind to headphones, erases all your settings. For what? There is no reason to be doing a factory reset when the coil is swapped out. There is nothing in a "memory" in the detector that could hold what coil was on it. Nor is there any circuit or programming that knows what coil is currently on the machine. So the coil swapped to another has zero effect on anything within the detector. A step NOT needed and a strange habit to develop. Gives not takes any advantage or disadvantage doing a factory reset. You can do as you like it's your time and machine and video. But lots of folks look to you for settings and advice on setup. You are telling them it needs to be done even though you say in the video it's not required. You are going to have people now swearing you have to do a factory reset to swap a coil. That's not good. That's misinformation and how weird things get started. You can do as you wish it's your video. But dam that's not ok to me. If you have a reason I am all ears on why a factory reset between coil swaps is benefiting in any way.

Because I've had 2 coils not perform right when they were swapped. The Coiltek did it and the 6" acted strange. After doing the reset, they were fine. You have an opposing thumb 👍 do what you want but don't tell me I'm spreading misinformation. I'm giving you my opinion based on my experiences NOT misinformation. If you don't like it, don't watch.
