One of my most memorable childhood memories. I was only 5 when that song was released in 1984 but at that age I was already a big fan of menudo that I remember always watching their every TV guestings when they toured my country. They were very popular here in the Philippines. We even had a poster of them in our room.

Funny... I when I started Spanish in high school my teacher had and experiment. "How many of you know of the group Menudo?" I went to a majority black school in the late 90's each year she said it was less and less hands. LOL Then people started saying, "Wasn't Riki Martin in that group." That tells you something about longevity. She said in the 80's the students just wanted her to translate menudo songs! LOL

I saw Cannonball Run 2 in the theatre back when I was a kid. I remember dancing in my seat to this song. Didn't know who performed the song until years later though. Such a catchy tune.

FYI- Robby wrote the song LIVIN LA VIDA LOCA for Ricky Martin. I was lucky to have met them and hang with them for a day.. The best memories which are still very vivid in my mind..

man a pinball machine I read in a gamming magazine that there is only one person that even produces the parts to make the old ones work more or less anymore, and that they dont make new ones since they have such good electronic ones today, and the michanical ones break down much sooner with all the moving parts, sad, and nothing like the old ones with the feel and the actual plunger you can hit to launch the ball for skill. speaking of launching still remindes me of cannonball run 2 start.
