Omg the Ysaye sonata! Truly amazing!

I remember a talk Vengerov gave about the judging in these competitions. He stressed that what they hear live in the hall is completely different than what we hear on a device. He talked about other intangible things, they look for when placing the performers. I agree that nothing beats live, it does sound totally different. That being said. I saw the results before I was able to see her amazing performance. I was also surprised she didn't advance as well, but I'm not qualified to judge. She's is indeed a virtuosic violinist and I have no doubt considering shes under the wing of one of the best ( Zakhar Bron) she is one to watch! I have been a fan for years, even her Mendelssohn at the age of 5!
