This is, by far, the best and most useful video for saving an orchid. Mine, sadly, looks the same as in the begining of the video. I have done as you suggested and I will keep trying to save her. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Edit - After 2 months, my orchid has 7 new healthy roots now! Thank you again.

I have tried this garlic trick. And it works. One orchid of mine was leaf less and very thin hair like roots since a year. But it's now having 2 new shoots. Thank you.

I tried cutting off all dead roots, sterilized the roots/ leaves and then put the plant upside down in water. I waited five weeks. Nothing happened- no new roots. Do you have any suggestions?
