This video saved my marriage. I was in the brink of divorce and homelessness until I seen this masterpiece, 00:56 is when I realised I was the reason I was ruining my relationship with my wife. At 1:31 I went out for a walk to think about my life and my choices in this beautiful world. While I was walking home listening to this, I decided to stop by the shop to get my wife her favourite flowers, tulips at 1:40. And finally at 2:00 I finally came back home, gave my wife the flowers that I got her and promised her that I will change things for the best. 2 years later I found this video in my recommended feed, I listened to the full video and it reminded me how simple things used to be. Even though I’m an homeless alcoholic that lives of eating slugs and drinking rain water I only need this video to survive. You know, I was actually in the live performance of this song back in '76 out in Seattle. It was me (playing the sandpaper), Jackie on the synth, and the star himself Sticky as the singer. God I could remember how windy that night was, but you could just tell something was in the air that night. This was the last stop on our tour across the States, and we just blew up in sales that last year! The crowd was even crazy in the back where we stepped out of the bus, it scared Sticky while we carried him out. All that was nothing compared to when we got up on stage and a sea of people started cheering as we got into place, it was deafening. But the instant Sticky started singing it went nuts! There was a beauty to it all, I got pulled into a trance. His beautiful voice echoing into a massive open concert lot, the people cheering and screaming, Jackie's skills on the keys... you can see me back there just in the moment. My kids dont ask me much about those days, but even if they did I couldn't tell them much. It was just a big blur of practice, partying, performing, meeting fans... Most people didn't like our breakup in the 80s, but we felt like we did what we wanted. We expressed ourselves fully to the world, all we'd make after that would be just forced. Well, Jackie and I saw it that way... nobody liked what happened to Sticky after he tried to go out on his own.
