Just a video to show the upgrade to the fuel return lines on the MEP 802A & 803A generators that I sell on my eBay store.

I used 1/8 inch push on fuel hose for the return and 1/4 inch fuel line for the lower pump lines.

I'm wondering if the cloth covered fuel return lines are the same size as the fuel return lines on the VW TDI engines from 1996 to 2005 model year? The brass tees are a good replacement. The zip ties will deteriorate due to heat cycles. However, such shouldn't be an issue because you correctly specified that due to the heat cycles, the fuel lines will adhere to the brass and actually seal themselves in short order.

They might be the same size line as it seems a lot of European diesel engines use the same line. My thought with the zip ties is that it will hold for a good while, but the heat cycles will make the line bond by the time the ties fail. The extra pressure from the ties for the time they're on will make them bond well. For the 7psi that will be in there, it's more than enough. I've sold a huge amount of these tee's & lines, time will tell how well it all works. I doubt there will be an issue as long as things have been installed properly.

Do you sell the fuel hose or a source for it? And what about an upgrade on it too? Lastly, does the hose off the bottom of the tee connect to brass stems on the engine? I can’t see down in there and my hoses are leaking but I have no power right now so gotta keep her running.

I sell both on my eBay store, link is in the video description. The OEM fuel return line is the best, it lasts a VERY long time. JP8 used by the military is what makes it (along with other rubber parts) degrade faster. Civilian side will not have that problem. The fuel return line I sell pre-cut depending on what model generator you have. It's from Europe so it's not cheap but it is the correct stuff to use. I usually ship out the next day when a sale is made. Didn't realize it, but the MEP 802A fuel line stock was showing out, however I do have some. Just updated the listing! ebay.us/lOSAQK

My are licking from the first 2 black lines by the power switch do u have any solution for this ?

There are no fuel line by the power switch so I'm not sure what you're referencing or you are mistaking another item for the power switch. Either way, I went through a lot in the MEP 803A video on fuel leaks, might be worth a watch.

Negative. No use for the larger 3 phase since they can't do the proper single phase for a house without a transformer. You can use them in a pinch but you run some risks and only get about 2/3 capacity of the generator, unless you really start splitting loads.

@@heavychevy2289 The bigger ones are pretty cool though. Amazing how quiet they are for the size. I'm civilian CES now and have used them a few times. A lot of the parts cross over between all the MEP models, at least those that can.
