DO NOT use this method. It does the opposite. Removed my tattoo within a day. Lightly brush baby powder over it and then spray hair spray. The key is not moisture with temporary tattoos, its the opposite. It will still be waterproof with the baby powder method and will last longer. The only time you will use water will be to seal it after it dries the first time..., lightly rinse with water. Then lightly pat dry. The key is "lightly" lol. Just make sure it dries before showering. Repeat this every couple of days. Sorry to the youtuber, no offense.

Eddie M Do you mean that after pulling off the paper, put a light coat of baby powder on the tattoo immediately, then spray it with hair spray?

@@daksmom1999 Pull it off slowly, let it dry. Then very very lightly rinse it with water. Once it dries, take a makeup brush and lightly powder it, then spray a thin layer of hair spray and let dry. If you do that every few days, it will last longer. Hope that helps. I realize my first post was confusing lol

If this is for a temporary tattoo I'm only doing for 1 day as part of a cosplay at a 3 day convention would it still be easily removable for when I change to cosplaying a different character?

Hii! i jsut wanna warn you tho..some commenter said it didt work for them..i guess it works for some type of tattoos..it worked for me..but not for others..so you might wanna try it to a small tattoo first! ;)

I've done exactly like described ... but due to that vaseline all tattoos lost sticking at the skin. So they come off very easily. Doing it without that hairspray-vaseline-hairspray cover all tattoos last for about 3 weeks. So that idea is a very BAD idea ... that is doing the OPPOSITE !!

You probably used an alcohol based tattoo, those already last longer because of the base and you remove them with alcohol. A lot of hairsprays have alcohol in them so that's probably why it removed it instead of making it last longer
