Hi guys! This video is an ANTI-van tour, in which instead of showing you only the best parts of our van, we will focus on everything that we haven't fixed yet, that needs maintenance or things that we'd like to change after a year of living in the van. Consider this video a "To Do List" of all the things we'll be fixing and sharing here in the future.
And also, in the second part of the video we will show you a night visitor that crawled into our van when we were sleeping, the night before we shot this video. ;)

the kindness and compassion you showed to your confused little guest = INSTANT subscribe! i know i'm late to the party, but this vintage RV is SO COOL! i own a 1986 VIXEN TD (another cool/vintage/retro RV). it needs updating, but luckily mine was very well taken care of and is almost 100% stock as a result. looking forward to watching the rest of your videos! @@Beelzebus Thats the one . The TD roof pops up on a long hinge - so it fits in the garage when down, but its 6'8" when popped up!

That is awesome! 🤘😃. We suspect it was the temperature and maybe a old crack that did it in because the day before it happened we had -30 degrees celsius. ❄

Top kitchen cabinets Can held closed by the two door knods with a capital E shape of wood slotted downwards Which are easy to put in and take off Like a M Over the 2 door knows . .

About your table, you should definitely take a look at the Lagun table, it would be a good fit for you. It's a bit expensive but very effective.

Instead of a winch you maybe better can buy a Tirfor 800 or 1600 (the 800 is plenty strong for your bus). So you can recover both forward and backwards :)

Thank you for the tip! We also wanted to have the option of winching both ways, so we´re going to try making some extra brackets and sliders so we could use the winch we have allready to go both ways under the bus hopefully, Tirfor 800 takes 800kg? we have a wich for 6000kg ha ha ha guess we overdid it, we we´re worried that since our bus weighs 4,5tons then we needed a stronger winch.

Unicat recommands for a 12/16 ton 4x4 truck a tirfor 1600. That is enough for self recovery. If you bring a snatchblock you can double the pulling power. 6000kg winch is nice to have! Get some yellow hoist straps 3ton (break strength is 21ton) for around the trees. And 4.75T shackles (break strength 23.75T)

Hi guys, wonderful project! I We've got a question: you said you lowered the floor to get to 1.9m height inside. How did you do it, exactly? How high was the van before (like in the paper)? We'd like to do the same but we would start from a van with a height (on the paper) of 2.85m and we don't know if that's possible. Thanks a lot and keep going! Sabri & Mario

Hi! Thanks! we don`t know for sure, the floor the former owners put the old floor on top of the original beams of the van, so we took it all out and insulated inbetween the beams so we got the floor hight down about 5cm. But it totally depends on how the floor is done in you're van? its hard to say ;)

Awwww poor wee thing! 🦇 a hole in the ground would be too cold and dangerous for a bat... they can also fly in the day because they use echo-location so the light isn’t the issue - they just know it’s not safe to be out because of day predators. if it happens again and you’re staying in that spot until the evening, the best thing to do is to tie a dark coloured shirt or sweater around a tree as high as you can, and try to get him to crawl under. If he’s still there when the night comes, you remove the shirt gently 😍🦇 🙏 very sweet how caring you were to it!
