So basically the first AMG race car was basically an S class

Long version of S class on air suspension and manually shifted 4speed automatic gearbox (later 5 speed ZF manual box). And it won second place in 24 hours of Spa 24 in 71. They were limited by the brakes. I think that the regulation called for stock rotors and Ford Capri RS had comparably sized brakes for 1/3 lighter car.

So ein manches Fahrzeug hat ein Auspuff.. daß man das Bedürfnis hat ne Schachtel Pommes rein zu schmeißen.. und mein .. Freund echt bescheiden..und hat Bums ohne Ende....hatte umgebaut 6.9 aber im SE .. ohne schnick schnack.. super Motor..
