The MP4 tractor units have been upgraded for the African market.
We've added a water separator to combat dirty fuel and water in the fuel. The separator simply drains water off to prevent any dirt or water entering the fuel system.
We've removed the Adblue system. The tank is still there but it is no longer operating. The Adblue system is disabled so no Adblue is injected into the system.
Disabling the Adblue system does not affect the power of the truck; nor does it affect the fuel consumption.
We've also improved the ground clearance making it much higher. We've uprated the front springs from 1 leaf to 3 leaf. We've added in a spacer which raises it 70mm off the top of the axle which creates the increase ground clearance.
We've also added a very strong 8mm thick sump guard to protect the radiator and the sump from any debris on the roads.
We've also removed the electronic radiator vents to encourage full air flow through the radiator to avoid potential over heating problems in hot conditions.
