No, it is not better. I had the 220CDI with similar power. Actual cars has better gearboxes, less windnoise, less consumption, more comfort and are much safer. The 211 Merc are like a big ship on the ocean :) and i had the station wagon and the limousine. In past, wonderful cars, now old cars.

Magyar Hungarian I drove a Tesla, it has was one of the most uncomfortable and uglyist car i ever have. Only the performance was estonishing. But i do not buy a car because it has was the fastest. Sorry my own opinion and driving experiance.

Not with ol gramps we'll never see it. Ol gramps likes to go the speed limit in Lane 1, but he fails to realize it is against the law to impede traffic by staying in Lane 1 even at going the speed limit.

If you drive over the Richtgeschwindigkeit and have a crash your responsibility goes up and this affects your insurance Even if someone pulls out We are fed up with idiots driving 200 and even 300 When normal people drive around 130. They were going to make it a mandatory speed limit, but the.auto lobby is strong over here due to most politicians that have a say also have a fast car PERIOD

Got a 2007 E280 CDI with 83k kms a few months ago. Such a refined machine. Can't believe some of the tech is almost 2 decades old and still feels better than newer cars. 2 year edit: Car is at 110k kms now. Glass smooth.

Yeah i have the 2004 e270 and it's engine is swapped so it can go up to 300kmh before it was 260kmh i still hsve the old speedometer but i do not want to change it cuz i wanna keep it as a sleeper car and it also makes 497hp before it was 386hp

Considering he never even got close to 262,5 km/h it would be impossible for him to go 35km in 8 minutes. Therefore it's safe to assume he edited the video (which you can clearly see in the video itself at 6:08).

My dad still owns his E280 Cdi 2009 Special edition and ran only 45k kilometres till now and of really high demand amongst the car peeps here. The original Mercedes facade. The round headlights what I meant. Sucks they don’t make cars like that anymore but we never ever selling ours. Those are the real cars. 3000 cc V6 190 BHP same as that one 👆🏻 But has got tons of updates features so was called “Avantgarde”. The last ones sold before the next facelift. Appreciate your taste mate!

Got 2008 w211 E350 4Matic. Absolutely the best car I've ever driven. At 113,000 miles it still feels like new. And, it's so hard to replace that classic luxury feel. A true Mercedes, w211 is. One of the best and most long-lived engines on a Mercedes and that bodystyle is still unmatched by new Mercedes vehicles made. They just hit the jackpot with everything on w211.

I really love this car. I sold my 2014 Passat to buy w211. I love how comfortable refined and quiet it is at high autobahn speeds. Passat B7 was good too but the way Passat felt at 180km mercedes feels at 210km. And I love the V6 diesel sound ( I actually like all 6 cylinder diesels sound). At low revs city or country side driving you can notice very subtle V6 low tone grunt.

I bought an 05 E320 in the beautiful golden color for 600 bucks. All that was wrong with it was a 70 dollar part attached to the transmission valve body. Mercedes was trying to charge the owner 2000 dollars usd for a new trans. So she sold it to me for 600. Changed the part and put fresh fluid in the trans and reset the TCU and it works perfectly. My favorite car ever. It can slide the rear end out and it is super controllable at high speed corners. I cant wait to put some nice new shocks on it and a nice set out wheels and tires on it. Probably some used amg wheels or something. It gets 30 mpg on the highway between 60-70 mph and 26mpg at 80mph. Its amazing. 200k miles on her and she shows no signs of giving up.

Most reliable car I ever owned. Used as a taxi, bought at 97,000 miles, sold at 246,000 still running fine and never any serious issues. Bought a 2018 and didn't last 12 months

Ich love my w211, 16 Years old, 322k on the speedo but reliable like a new car. Its just the small 220 Diesel but fun to cruise. I hope the car will run some more miles. It was the car from my dad in wich we drove in to the Holidays when i was a kid and the Car was brand new.

Hello I'm from Portugal, this is a 3.0 v6 280cdi 190hp, I had a 320cdi 3.2 6L 204hp and the top speed was 250km/h (speed limited), one the best car I had in my life, strong engine and very solid car... I have a Mercedes Sprinter 316cdi with 2.7 5L (270cdi) 156hp, very strong engine, 15 years old, 300k kms and no problems, the best van ever in the world, just need careful in oil and water, I see much Sprinters 316cdi with 1milion kms and no problems, here the Mercedes was Real Mercedes, now is low quality 250 cdi 3.0 v6 cdi aren't good, don't make much kms.

Ah, I miss driving in Germany. This one must be a little tired, since I had a rental E280 CDI once (maybe 10-12 years ago) and it topped out around 245... I now have an '05 E320CDI of my own and it pulls harder, love the torque!

The 2005-2009 e280 cdi pulls harder than the 201 and 204hp e320 cdi, if your e320 is straight six then it doesnt pull as hard as the v6 e280

Я на своём мерсе Avangard e210 w280 220 км выжемал дальше было страшно, дорога плохая да и машина 1996 года. Мерседес это сила ,мощь и огонь!!! Респект всем мерсоводам!!! Удачи на дорогах!!!!

My friend has a 2004 E320 Cdi and it has almost 500 000km. It is unbelievably fast for its mileage and the interior is superb. He recently refurbished the interior and it looks like a brand new car. It doesn't have any problem with the engine or anything otherwise, tho I gotta say he looks after it a lot, full service history and maintenance but still impressive to see how reliable are these Mercedes if they are looked at. Huge respect for and love for this brand.

The thing with type of cars isn't the acceleration or top speed but the fact that there is zero difference in ride comfort between a 100 or 200 🙌
