I had a '98 s420, just like this, but black interior, and it saved my life, so i bought a '99 s500, blk/blk. Awesome upload! For those asking, you can buy the front bumper online. It's a Wald aftermarket front bumper. Also, Mercedes put over a billion dollars into this car, and it's designer thought it was 4 inches too tall, after it was all said and done. There are AMG models of this car, before the merge. But, only the veRY wealthy were able to special oder them, handmade with the engine inside, in AMG Japan, at the time. These cars are still around and are a veRy rare sight, starting with the S70, s72, and s73 v12s. I was able to get my hands on an unused uninstalled AMG kit, for my s500. There are two AMG generations for this chassis. I have the first generation AMG sports package for mine. This is the first car that started the big body style that you see today from bmw 7series, chrysler 300, etc etc. Many features that are standard today, started with this car.

That jawn clean, I miss mine Kept the 20 chrome Lorenzo's can't wait to find another to do over. Got rid of it for a 64 , sold my Impala want the big Benz back like that after market bumper and how they lowered the front.

I installed aftermarket shocks, springs, and spring shims in the front. Eventually I’ll lower the rear haha

Beautiful ride. I got a black 07 S550 with 5% tint on all doors and back plus sunroof and 35% windshield. Also have it tuned and got exhaust done. Love a nice clean black S-Class especially the W140 chasis.

Bilsteins upfront to lower? My mechanic offered to cut 1 to 1 1/2 coils. Cheaper but I think it might change the geometry of the suspension. Anyone here cut? Nice wheels you got, and very clean. Thanks for posting!

Condensation from the unit. Those MB's are like the older model Lexus LS 400, the water from the AC leaks well after the car is turned off. And that's a good thing, heavy duty AC units.

Love the car but I am a car guy. I can't get use to everyone putting the camera in their face with the car over their shoulder. WTF Can I just see the car and not the dudes. Now having said that, amazing exterior but what is going on inside. Nothing is well kept or refurbished you can even see its not really clean.
