No, the safest is to have a very stiff passenger cell that doesn't deform, and long crumple zones that are soft in front and rear that takes the energy.

The enery in the car, are absorb by the deformations zone, in allmost all cars today, a hard box are danger, to soft are to danger, but a middle hard box are the most safe once, who absorg the powerfull energy !

I'm the only one who saying the right things/truth, I'm the best, take a tank, and drive in to a concrete wall, it will shake you to death, no absorb zone in a tank, you need take some of the speed of, as Newtons law of motion and gravitation's law nr.1 !

Of course it is so, and obviously you haven't read what I wrote! I said long and soft crumple zones in front and rear that takes the energy. But the passenger cell should be stiff, else you will be crushed. Using your words, that would mean a stiff box in the middle with soft boxes in front and rear... It is safer than a equally stiff car that is "middle hard", as you call it. Guess you were the one that gave me a negative rating on that comment too? Jesus...
