Having broken the driver's window on a 2003 W203, I found the new glass can be fitted without having to remove the regulator.
Tools needed...
Drill and bits to remove rivets.
Torx 25 and a smaller one (sorry don't know the size) to remove the door card, speaker and plastic bit around the door catch.
Flat screwdriver to prise bits off and clear broken glass from window seal.
Rivets and gun.
Fiddly job, but took me about 90 mins having never done one before.
Worth searching KZfaq for "w203 window regulator " for how to remove the door card.
Thumbs up would be nice.
