UPDATE: they do make a new leather cover for this seat now after market and is alot cheaper then the dealer so it is a added option for your repair

Where did you purchase your seat?

Mercedes used cheap hard leather on this model. Mink oil will soften the leather, with regular use.

Loads of passenger seats out there but all drivers seats cracked or ripped !

if it took you months to get it would have been easier to get a passenger seat from the UK the cars are popular and the passenger side is usually undamaged and with the parts being cheaper postage wouldn't be too bad
