I think this car looks way better then the A4. The interior is cramped but not boring at all to the look. Mercedes is going after younger buyers.

I have a new 2016 C450 and have been driving it for 2 weeks. I have the regular seats with the leather option and they are very comfortable and give good support. On the highway, I am averaging 31 mpg (Eco Mode) and in city driving about 23 mpg in the city. I traded in a 2015 Audi S5 for the C450 and in my opinion, the Mercedes interior is better than the S5, in fact I still can not believe that Audi doesn't have a power adjustment steering wheel in a $60,000+ car. The Audi had less horsepower and torque and I could tell the difference. Audi S5 still a great looking car. The video's evaluation of the Comfort, Sport and Sport + mode were right on. The C450 drives on the sporting side just the way I wanted it too and when I put it in Sport + I can really tell the difference. The base model in the US comes with 18" all weather tires. I plan to do highway driving during the winter and felt that they were the best choice. Overall I love the car. Gives a nice sporty ride around town and a comfortable car for long trips where one could have spirited driving on highways and two lane roads.

Thank you very much Thomas for this reviewing. Crazy and sharp performance, stability and steering from a MB AMG car as always. However, MB was very successful for shaping front bumpers and framing them with those sharp chromed lips something that BMW has totally failed at. An example for this is the front bumper of the new 7 series which is a total mess and all other series. BTW, let me tell you something that what highly pushed me to subscribe in your channel was 2 key things; 1. is high quality and sharpness of the media, 2. is the length of the media. But, sometimes the picture becomes jelly during moving around the object and I don't know why!? Now I come across what I asked you to do, do you remember how you perfectly demonstrated opening and closing of door windows and showed how they slowed down on completion during the episode of New Hyundai Genesis 2016, time at 16:10. I wanted you to demonstrate how storage compartments and glove boxes open just like that way, I mean the mechanism. Thank you very much again.

I agree with you Thomas, that Infotainment screen shouldn't be sticking out like that on the dashboard. If you leave this car(or any other car like it) here in N-America (Canada) for only 5 minutes, unattended on street, some junkie would smash the window and rip the screen off the dashboard, hoping they can sell it for a few dollars.

Another nice review, Thomas. This V-6 C-Class would be my pick of the AMG segment. Two questions: first, is this V-6 noticeably more nimble (better turn-in), than the V-8, because of the lower weight over the front wheels? would you take this over the c400? Apparently, the c400 is slight faster off the line from 0-60, which is odd considering this is an "AMG Lite" Exhaust note is nice though i must say.

The dark horse in this race will be the new S4. It's going to be very interesting once this comes out. If what you say about the Audi's interior is matched by it's performance, the S4 might steal a lot of sales from the 340 BMW and the C450.

@Autogefühl Are you really sure that the AMG performance seat where the culprit in being uncomfortable ? I have recently driven the A45AMG without them and the C63 with the performance seats. Both cars where absolutely brilliant suspension wise. The C63 with the AMG seats was very comfortable like the the A class. Both had 19 inch wheels. The ride was solid and the rims took a beating but not the passengers. The bad roads in Belgium are quite a test :) I also drove the C450AMG without these seats and the car felt horrible suspension wise. On uneven roads it bumped around and my passengers where complaining. The professional car driver which joined me was even surprised that the C63 and A45 felt so compliant compared to the C450AMG. I mentioned this to Mercedes after doing the test rides

That big screen for character entry into the nav system is for the Chinese market. Try scrolling through thousands of characters, much easier just to write.

I agree; the screen on the dash would look much better with an Audi-style motorized version to keep it concealed. But, now Audi isn't even using that anymore on the new A4.

Mercedes really focused on the things that will make this car a real performer (engine, suspension). I don't understand why at this price that keyless ignition isn't standard. Plus, I don't see the engine plaque showing whom manufactured the engine.

I don't get why MB doesn't offer 4matic on AMGs in Europe, while most AMGs in the US are 4matic nowadays .

..not sure about that review. First: I've never seen anybody speaking bad or experience bad those Performance seats. Ur actually the First. Maybe just not ur taste? Second: I had driven the cla45 AMG and the c450amg and in no way was the cla more comfortable then the c class. The complete setting in the new a45 is even more sharpened so I would be really surprised, if it is more comfortable in the c mode. I would like to here some Details about that. Can u please try to explain?

I dislike Mercedes for this model, I would prefer the engine in a standard (comfy) C-class, not one standard loaded with 4 matic, a big set of wheels and hard suspension.

Audi interior better quality? Dude, get your facts straight and dont ever say that again. Your just making people think your on Audi's paylist. Mercedes has set the all time standard. They have brought the refinement and quality of the e-classe and even the s-classe into the c-classe. Completely overtrowing every competition. Audi A4 (newest model) litteraly sucks. My friend has it and he bows down to my c-classe.
