One thing I forgot to mention is Car-to-X Communication. This forms part of the Live Traffic subscription and can communicate with other compatible cars to warn of danger. The car will use on boards sensors so in one example, if you hit some black ice, the car can detect this and pop a pin on the map to warn others of danger. You can submit a danger report yourself on the Map screen, press the wheel in and nudge to the right to the "Send" button. From here you can submit a warning which instantly appears on other user's maps on their navigation system.

Hi Nick can you direct me to a link regarding and tips any snow driving modes please. You have helped me loads in the past with tips and tricks but we have just had 2 inch of fresh snow. I have a 80 foot gravel drive going uphill and I couldn't get up it with my 2020 C class coupe RDW. Is it me being useless or the rwd just being useless in snow because the wheels are so wide????? . The rear wheel got stuck in a dip and when I reversed to take another go the wheels just spun on the snow I had just compressed. thanks in advance.

Have they taken away motorway information my old c class used to tell me the upcoming junctions. Just bought an E class with this operating system and it doesn’t show them and you haven’t mentioned them in this video. It was one of the best features and there doesn’t seem to be an option for it.

I had a question though, when I press the home button I was under the impression that I would land up in a home screen or something like a screensaver with just the merc logo or just the digital clock on display instead of a menu like page. Hi, recently bought a 2020 C200 Cabriolet. I am planning to do a trip into france shortly and have created scenic routes in GPX format. Is there any way to import these to the Mercedes navigation system. Can't seem to find any meaning ful info on this. Hi nick. Just working my way through you excellent youtube. I've got to changing a global name and hit a problem. I can hit the rename button and get the existing name up but I don't see how to change it. It just sits with the cursor on the name but no option to add new characters. I have a 2018 GLS 450 with COMAND. The one thing I miss the most, that other cars I own have, is the speed limit where I am traveling. I'm experiencing an issue with this command 5.5 NTG, once a day I would say, it turns off the screen, no button working, and powers back after 1 minute like, it has restarted somehow by itself. Hi Nick, In my W213, I have the memory seat package so the easy entry / exit function is available. However it was working when the car arrive from Germany. After I saved my seat setting in the memory, whenever I open the door it only move the steering wheel up but not moving the seat backward. Before I saved my seat setting, the seat slides backward and the steering wheel goes up too. Is there something wrong ? In the COMAND option both steering wheel and seat are highlighted, also the option available is only enable or disable, no further options like in your video. Thanks.

Hi Nick. Great videos thanks. I’m having an issue on my newly acquired 2016 W213 E Class iwith regard to playing music from a USB stick. On other cars I can specify “play album xxxx” or “play artist xxxxx”, but this doesn’t seem possible on the W213 ! Instead I seem to be stuck with the sequential playing of all the songs on the USB.
