Mercedes W110 (known as "heckflosse") build in 1963 typ:220Sb. Formerly owned by hungarian state for representation purpose. When it was new the value of the car was the same as a detached house in the luxory hill of the city. By 1978 is was sold for one of the drivers who used it till 1993. Engine inline 6 dual Zeinth carburettors. We only check oil level, clean the plugs and put a fresh battery. Oil pressure build up about 5 sec and only with the starter motor reaches 2.5bar.
The car is for sale, location near Budapest, Hungary. Price 2800euro.

If it’s been sitting for 22years the tires are probably flat and that car weighs almost 1 ton and I don’t think they have to tools or equipment to move the car

Didn't fire right up after 22 years sitting in a hungarian container, I bet my life ;-)

@@heyalter6244 yeah true. The guy who worked on it before. Didn't know what he was doing. Firing order was wrong and fuel system was destroyed but the next day it did. With a gas can for a fuel tank

@@dankennedy8757 That's a common problem. A lot of not very skilled people work on cars and destroy them instead of repairing them... happy to read that you could save your Benz!

@@heyalter6244 oh yeah it's still got a long way to go But not that much really. I got my shifter halfway done and the brakes were a total loss. But thanks

@@dankennedy8757 Luckily you can get nearly all parts for an old Mercedes without too many problems, only the prices are a bit high, depending on what spare parts you need. With the brakes, try to use only NOS, these have the best quality still. Here in continental Europe, some brake parts like master or wheel cylinders are reproduced by certain companies but wear much quicker than original MB resp. ATE or Girling parts. Happy restoring!
