I replaced the climate control piece of the console last weekend after watching this. It's very helpful, especially where you showed the more difficult parts and reassured me that pulling and wiggling parts a bit more wasn't going to destroy the whole console.

The lower tray is Mercedes-Benz part# 203-683-02-91-7C45. It is $32 and ours is now cracked into 4 pieces. I will get one and thanks for this video!

Hello ! I have a question for you: I own a w203 non facelift and I want to replace the radio - cd with a navigation. Do I need adapters or other cables? Do I have to choose a navigation with iso cables? Navigation is not original

it all depends if you have a Bose system ... the Bose speakers are 2 OHM and won't work with most aftermarket radios.. Best to check with someone who knows a good deal about that stuff though . I have never worked much with high end stereo stuff, other than changing decks on cars with normal 4 OHM speakers

Hi thanks for the info. I need to replace the tray under the radio. Can this tray be removed without taking all the panels off? It looks like if you have a credit card to slide under the tabs it should slide out. I have tried to do this but the tray will not slide out. Has any one got their tray out?

The tray is stuck to the radio … you have to take off both

Your ass knew not to unplug that radio.... Lol.. That mf cut off beeping asking you for your number to get back in them draws then wondering who Mercedes is waiting on the phone. Lmao.... Im working on mines also an im up grading to after market bluetooth cause the power dropped an I cant stand talking to her "Mercedes" They'll have you at the dealership sir for the code after you call them... Once you pull this panel off as in the video, there are 4 screws that hold the climate control panel to the wood trim...then it just pops out

@@fupabox want to hear something funny i thought it was my climate control unit going bad !!! I changed out the evap temp sensor it helped for a little but it started to act up again take forever to get cold then it wouldn't stay that way compressor was full and working electric fan checked out i was stumped . i watched another video on using home ac coil cleaner on your cars ac condenser i just did this on my old home central air system and it made a huge difference i still had some left i read the instructions said rubber and plastic safe so i gave it a try after letting it sit for ten min i cant believe how much stuff i rinsed out of it let the car dry to be on the safe side and when i started it within a min or so had cool air coming out the vents drove the car for 30 mins it stayed consistent and cold. i guess 17 years of bug guts and road dirt had my system working overdrive and kept shutting down the compressor once gone it made a huge difference

Genauso sollte es nicht gemacht werden. Sehr schlecht erklärt und zu 80% falsch ausgebaut. Es gibt hier besser erklärte Videos. Die luftdusche zerlegts du in einzelteile Der Aschenbecher gehört ausgebaut genauso die Schaltkulissse.
