the newer V6 held its ground but the older all motor V8 Benz had better top end. I wish the W210s had better gearing theyd be even quicker! I really want an E55 W210!

+NonoOfPyro Genau, ein V8 mit 4,3l Hubraum und der 350er ist ein V6 mit 3,5l. Beim Drehmoment ist der 430er mit 400Nm um 50Nm im Vorteil.

Top Video! Hatte auch mal das Vergnügen in einem 430er mitzufahren, als Kombi, mit 7 Personen und noch 6 Surfbrettern aufm Dach und das Ding ging trotzdem wie sonst was :D Bin selber auch gerade auf der Suche nach einem Stern, tendiere aber eher zu einem Sechszylinder

Sehr interessantes und faires Rennen. War auch so in etwa zu erwarten. Nehmen sich fast nichts. Der v8 geht zum Schluss ein kleines bisschen besser ab. Ist ja auch ne ältere Technik drin ( Motor + Automatik).

If you wanna upset some 3.0 q50's as I do all day on the highway. Get a tune from OE Tuning and a Peddle Commander....you will not be sorry but they will lol...

Considering there isn’t much difference in overall displacement, I’d say the old SOHC 3 valve m113 does quite admirably.

The w210 is a lovely car the only bad thin with them are that they rust like crazy :( I had a E230 automatic one, loved it but the rust got so out of hand. Now I drive a w211 E320 us spec and it is a really nice car!

Congrats on your W211! It's a real shame about any Mercedes of this era and the rust problems, especially the W210. Other than that, they're pretty much indestructible and a great value for your money.

M-Gruppe.net It is a wonderful car and so much fun to slide on snowy roads with it, it has got some kind of limited slip differential. But as value for money a w210 with a V8 is awesome value for money! I have been thinking of eventually buying a E50 or E55 w210.

Absolut geiles Video :-) Darf ebenfalls nen W211 350er mein Eigen nennen und werde glaube nie die Freude daran verlieren das Auto zu fahren . Aber wie der 430 abgeht hat mich doch überrascht weil langsam wirds ja doch ein altes Auto ^^ welches Bj is der 430 ?

+M-Gruppe.net Meine Oma hatte noch bis vor 2 Jahren nen E270 CDI der war glaube auch 99er Baujahr und is damit nicht viel jünger als ich selbst ^^ daher stammt glaube meine Faszination für die E klasse allgemein :D Muss auch sagen der Klang vom E 430 is echt der Wahnsinn steht den ganzen modernen mit Klappenauspuff nicht nach .

Martin Gård pre-facelift E 430 weights 1610 kg. facelift E430 and e 430 4matic 1770 kg. 350 is a new engine. from 2005 to 2009. previous one was 320. only restiling versions are 350. E350 RWD is 1610. E350 4matic is 1700. so, it makes none of us actualy right lol

That's just the cameras recording the sound differently, in reality the W211 is quieter.

ok)) but what you think E430 will be faster? I have E350 , and raced with 2002 S500 , from 0-150 I was ahead)) maybe after that he was a bit faster))

+Robert Grigoryan Hard to tell. The 430 only starts pulling away at higher speeds so the 350 with its faster shifting gearbox might be closer from a standing start. The official Mercedes numbers state a 0-100 time of 6.6s for the 430 and 6.9s for the 350.

@@MGruppeNet Ich überlege auch mir nächstes Jahr einmal im Leben einen V8 zuzulegen, solange man Sprit noch hablbwegs bezahlen kann und der W210 preislich noch im jammertal ist. 10 Liter sind dann wahrscheinlich auch nur bei ruhiger fahrweise bzw viel Autobahn zu erreichen oder? Ich bin mit meinem W124 230E auch bei 10,5 bis 11,5 litern. Hier im bergischen mit viel hoch und runter und viel Kurzstrecke...

@@dosenwurst101 Bin viel Langstrecke gefahren aber alles in allem absolut kein Schluckspecht (da soll der 420er ja ganz anders sein). Genau, aufgrund Wandel zur Elektromobilität, Umweltpolitik etc. weiß ich auch nicht, wie lange die V8 noch erschwinglich und zulassungsfähig sind. Daher denke ich auch, dass man nicht weiter träumen, sondern es realisieren sollte. Habe es nie bereut, nur den Verkauf :-(

I own CLS 350 and in comfort mode is slower than in sport but my 540I IS A BEAST. CLS 350 is slow compared to BMW 540I E39

What a poor vehicle horn the W211 have - it sounds like from a small car like Fiat or Citroën - absolutely ridiculous for an upper mid-range class car like a Mercedes Benz E-Class!
