Thank you so much for this. It fixed my battery warning light. A bonus was my brake warning light was constantly on, despite having the brakes changed and bled. The reconnect of this cable has got rid of this warning light (have no idea whatsoever why). Nevertheless, you are a legend

Thank you so much...just changed my battery and didn't even notice that daft little wire tucked away out of sight... battery placement and access completely ridiculous without the additional booby trap of this little connector popping off.

What does the white battery means when it shows up but doesn’t say visit workshop? I have a 2008 gl450. Thank you! So glad I found your page! I’ve done so much in so little time. My kids love that my cigarette charger is fixed🙌🏽

Your secondary battery is dead. You will need to change it out.

Did they stop putting the auxillary battery in 2011 ml320? Would it say in the s/n specs , just one battery aboard? Thanks Great vid

Question I think I need to charge the battery but the information on the dashboard said the car is not in park. I don’t know how to put it in park if I can’t crank the car up. But the windows and the radio still works.

I have a 2011 E350 (w212) station wagon. Car battery would did every time car was cut off. But would run easily for hours. No battery light. After replacing the battery. Now I’m getting a red battery symbol. If I put old battery back in. No symbol but have to jump car to get it to run. New battery haves red symbol every 30 seconds or so while driving. Any idea ?

I have a 2007 GL 450. The horn, signaler, gas gauge, horn, and bright lights don't work. I replaced both batteries, but that did not help. What else do I need to check? Thanks

Hi there my battery light came back on after I fix the alternator voltage that was burnt out now it's just showing the battery signal light red with the whole screen black first it was all red with the battery light

I replaced my aux battery on 07 gl450 connected the wire and still getting the white battery symbol. The old one I pulled out was at 12.9 v. New one I put in was at 12.6v. Obviously the battery is being charged, any other reasons I'm still getting the white battery message?

Take some pliers and crimp the aux battery push on terminals a bit, they may be a bit loose. Đo that for the one that goes to the main battery negative terminal as well.

I know for sure that the white warning battery indicator means the auxiliary battery needs to be replaced but what about the red warning battery indicator, what does it mean?

Thanks my radio would pop up the Mercedes Benz symbol and would never turn and my sunroof wouldn’t come back and I thought I needed to replace the main battery
