Thanks for carrying the torch for the older cars! I too have owned several W123's over the years. Simple sophistication. I'm a car guy and love a good old school hotrod, appreciate some of the new stuff, love my 95 E300D (second one at that) but nothing draws as much emotion as a W123. Someday I will have another W123 Wagon, hopefully sooner than later.

I have MB w123 and presently undergoing restoration on the whole paintwork . It is really a reliable car and harxly thought of giving it up. It is a pride to drive one of those well maintained classic Merc Benz

I'm jealous man. You have such a cool life/ job. I am 20 yrs old, just got my 1976 w115 300d. It needs a lot of work, but its worth while. I live not to far up north from L.A. in Santa Barbara. +

There is something special about U.S Mercedes Benzes. I especially like the headlights and bumpers.

what's so special about US version? compare to European models there lower on HP and those front bumpers is not very desirable.

Gotta say, I love Mercedes diesels! Only problem is do you wanna drive it or keep it in your garage in prestine condition. These New England roads can be tough on cars.

Okay watching this makes me want to drive a 300D Turbo w123 as a daily driver, but it's too classic, that I don't want to drive it everyday.

In all honesty I would rather have a vintage Mercedes Benz diesel over a modern one. They were over engineered and look amazing.

Okay, I completely admire what you do, but if you're so into period details, why put the old steering wheel on that big-bumper W115? Shouldn't it take the padded wheel?

His 240D has the wrong steering wheel. It should have the foam one.
