Yesss, los motores son buenisimos, pero son muchas las historias que hay de los problemas de los carburadores. Yo pensaba que con el buen mantenimiento no me iba a pasar 🤣🤣, pero como quiera llegó el dia y me dejo a pie 🤣🤣🤣

Buenas amigo,buen video y bonita zona de pesca!una pregunta,veo que el nuevo carburador lleva reguladores que el original no tiene?no necesita regulación alguna al montarlo??saludos desde Canarias! y gracias de antemano...

Saludos amigo! El carburador funcionó casi perfecto con los ajustes que trae de fabrica. Lo unico que tuve que hacerle fue ajustar "la baja" para aumentarle las revoluciones minimas. El motor se apagaba debido a que estaba calibrado muy bajo. El resto de la calibracion la deje tal como vino. 👍👍

Amigo te cuento algo mi cuñado tiene un zuzuki 6 hp . El carburador también le pasa igual q a ti por mi parte si fuera mio. Yo si me animara a repararlo le doy con un mini dremel. Y una broca delgada en donde se tapa la gasolina y la suciedad le abro el agujero donde pasa la gasolina i listo que carburo toda esa basurita y listo. Deveria de seguir mandando el líquido y por ende no debería apagarse .

Seria un buen proyecto para probarlo, aun tengo el carburador viejo guardado. Aunque no volveria a instalarlo permanentemente, se pudiera probar a ver.

Good question. As far as I know, its the same OEM carburator that is used in the Merc 5hp outboard

It gives a bit of both. The engine seems happy with this mod. Acceleration is better and it gives higher RPM's. Overall depending on tje boat or kayak, you will definitely achieve higher speeds

Saludos, debes ajustarle la "baja" en el carburador. Hay un tornillito que se ajusta en la palanquita plastica del carburador,

En la parte de arriba del carburador hay una pieza plastica color negro, donde se unen los cables del acelerador. Hay un tornillo con un "spring", ese es el que se ajusta. Enciende el motor y ajusta el tornillo hasta las revoluciones minimas donde prefieres el motor

que malos son esos carburadores ,yo tengo uno 2.5 y le pasa lo mismo me deja botado siempre ,ahunque le limpie todo me falla ,no se si ponerle un carb de un 3.5 que tu crees funcionará?

Tienes que comprar el kit que yo compré, el del 5hp con la propela. El carb del 3.5 es el mismo que tiene tu 2.5 :(

@@dannypadillafishing si ya vi unos en amazon buenos segun los reviews ,pero esos dicen que son lo mismo para un 3.5 hasta 6 hp o sea me sirve igual ,la propela no la quiero porque la mia esta nueva .gracias amigo

Mi recomendacion es que compres especificamente el de 5hp que consigues en la pagina de internet readysetboat.com. El link que puse en la descripcion es del kit que incluye la propela, sin embargo ellos tambie tiene el carburador solito. No te arriesgues a comprar el de amazon, pues es probable que no te bregue bien

Real life tests buddy, I gained 1 mph on my kayak..... but to be "documented" you can only know if the engine is put on a dyno, and for sure nobody has done it

But to be fair, this kit also includes a new prop, which produces higher RPMs and pitch

@@dannypadillafishing the alu prop is definetly better than the rubbish plastic one. Fortunately I have all the parts to do the test but I believe If you want real improvements something else has to be done unless the engine is is an restricted one. The weak point seems to be the conrod.
