There is a backroad around here with a huge hill that drops off. I hit that going 90 and got some crazy ass air! I busted the transmission pan when I landed. Just took one off a junkyard car to fix it. There was a big gouge in the road for several years after that where it hit.

Your Grand Marquis sounds great! My brother has a 2001 Lincoln Continental which has the awesome and underrated 275 HP Intech 4.6L DOHC 32 valve V8 in it. The Conti also comes with 3.56 gears... I don't know why it's not 3.55? But it says 3.56 in the owners manual. For such a large car, it's pretty light actually weighing 3,848 pounds. Most cars this size are well over 4,000 pounds. He has a few mods as well... An AirAid CAI, Diablo InTune 93 octane Race Tune with raised 6400 rpm shift points... The redline is actually 6500 rpm, but it only shifts at 5800 rpm at WOT bone stock for some reason? Anyway, he also has custom true dual 2.5" S.Steel piping with the resonators deleted along with a Borla Axleback w/4" tips. This car is definitely a sleeper, even bone stock people think it's just a fancy 2v V8 Crown Vic lol. Little do they know that the Crown Vic weighs almost 500 pounds more than the Continental, the Crown Vic has much taller gearing, and it has 36-51 less horsepower (depending on if that Crown Vic has the dual exhaust option). The Conti is basically a FWD sedan version of the Lincoln Mark VIII, but with better gearing. Even the Mark VIII only has 3.07 gearing. The LSC has 3.27 gearing. My brothers buddy has a bone stock 2003 Mercury Marauder, and I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes, but the Continental is not slightly faster, it's quite a bit faster than the Marauder stock vs stock. The must have raced like 20 times from all different speeds, and dig races. We jogged away from his friend who was alone and the Conti had an extra person (me) in the passenger seat.
