As a jewelry owner myself all the display jewelry in the showcase are all 100% CZ which are all glass not real diamonds .., the showcase they all broke have more value than wat they took.

I was born and raised in Sunnyvale. 46 years later and I shake my head cause growing up in the 80s and 90s nothing like this EVER happened in Sunnyvale. Kinda curious what jewelry store this is? Trying to think where this might be.

Isn't it unusual that they're never stealing from grocery stores but instead are always targeting luxury items like high-end shoe retailers and jewelry stores? I've been reliable told, time and time again, that mob theft occurs because of desperation and they only do this because they're poor and hungry, but if that's the case why steal jewelry and Nike shoes?

I see the guys from the armored trucks picking up cash from grocery stores. They have body armor and Glocks and 3 extra mags on their belts. They’re seriously gonna get in a shootout for what they get paid for somebody else’s money? Guess they didn’t see Heat. No guard is gonna even try to stop one of these flash mob robberies.

Many years ago back in the 1960's my dad owned a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in NYC on 41st Street and eight Avenue. He worked from four in the morning to six o'clock in the evening. One day just before closing three hoodlums enter the coffee shop with weapons attempting a robbery. Two never lived to tell the tale, the third managed to leave with a bullet lodged in his back. When I asked my father as to why he didn't hand over the money to the thieves. He responded, I work very hard to put food on your table, and nobody is going to rob it from me. My dad was never charged for any crime. If my dad was alive today and owned that jewelry store, I would have to assume at least 10 of those robbers would never make it out the door. I have to assume the store was closed as I do not see any employees there. Something else I do not understand. There is a product called LEXAN which is very diffiucult to break, why does the store use fragile glass in their showcases?

Even AI technology profiles these people. Think about that for a minute.
