Koit was 19 years old here. 19 years later, he would go on to represent Estonia in Eurovision 2017. Now, he will try his luck in Eesti Laul 2021. EDIT: To think that Koit is now in his 40s, yet still looks as young and handsome as he was in 1998... looking forward to his participation in future editions of Eesti Laul.

I remember how funny it was when one of the hosts remarked he was born the same year Katrina won while she was giving the UK's points, and at least for a moment she had a clear "lord have mercy, that was just twenty years ago" look.

my favourite that year. listenef to it over and over again. I tried to vote for it, but the line was engaged all the time. I was sure that the 12 points from Norway would go to you, Kooit, but unfortunateley not. I don't know if the line broke down. But personally, this is my 12 points from me. A wonderful and charming song. I agree, it should had ended higher. Much bettet than many songs which were ranked higher. Our own, Norwegian, included.

One of the guys who wrote this song, Tomi Rahula, is now in charge of the Estonian song selection Eesti Laul :D And Koit Toome is also back in Eesti Laul 2021, so maybe next year in Eurovision?

Shoutout to the backing singer, he harmonizes very well with Koit and I find it adorable how at 0:48 he seems to sit there and genuinely finding it hard to believe he's at Eurovision. Wholesome stuff
