After about 4 years of on-and-off work, this compilation of every Doctor Who villain and monster is finally complete! Composed of 5 second clips each, this video features over 400 of the Doctor's antagonists across the show's history, from the very first story An Unearthly Child all the way up to the most recent episode (at the time of posting), Twice Upon a Time! Enjoy!
Music used: • [Electro House] Aktion...
Note 1: While many of these villains are listed on the Doctor Who Wiki, some were not and added because I personally feel they should have been included. This includes some antagonists who turn good near the end of the story, but are still included because they act against the Doctor for the majority of it.
Note 2: 'First' and 'Last' appearances do not include cameos, only instances where the villain/monster is the primary antagonist. For example, the Dalek's 'last appearance' is listed as The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar, despite having appeared in cameos in Hell Bent, The Pilot, and Twice Upon a Time

People are meme'ing on the Kandy Man @ 19:06. You're welcome to love him or hate him, but that costume is pretty 'sweet', and I love how he flashes from overly polite psychopath (vs) petulant child-like temper tantrums. He's a great representation of how the theme of the episodes are constantly fighting each other. After all, making sadness 'illegal' isn't going to cure sadness, but facilitate it, but hey, feel free to force those smiles and pretend everything is OK!

Unfortunately due to the amount of time it took me to make this, and other new compilations I'd like to make, I'm not currently planning on remaking this, certainly not any time soon. If I do remake it someday, the earliest would be after Jodie Whittaker leaves the role. Sorry.

To be fair, the Master featured in EVERY story of the first season he appeared in. And actually, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 12th Doctor's all had more encounters with the Master than the Daleks. So that probably contributed to it.

Then came back in Day of the Daleks, Planet of the Daleks, Death to the Daleks, Genesis of the Daleks, none for season 13-16, Destiny of the Daleks, none for season 18-20, Resurrection, Revelation, none for season 23 and 24, Remembrance of the Daleks, none for season 26, Dalek 2005, Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks, The Stolen Earth/Journeys End, Victory of the Daleks, none for series 6, Asylum of the Daleks, Time of the Doctor, (sort of) Into the Dalek and Magician's Apprentice/Witch's Familiar. (not including Resolution bc of date) Exactly 27. If you want to give the music's creator some support , I've linked to the original video in the description :) Yeah, unfortunately nothing from Series 11 could've have been included as I uploaded this shortly after Twice Upon a Time aired. I felt like a good time to upload it was between the end of one era and the beginning of the next (plus the fact I'd been working on this slowly for 4 years already, I didn't want to wait any more!)

Thanks! It took me a long time to make and I'm really pleased with the end result! I really enjoyed the new episode. Obviously it had it's flaws, but I thought it was a great start to a new era. I'll be uploading a video giving more detailed thoughts on the episode in a few days.

3:26-3:30 I guess General Cutler from "The Tenth Planet" doesn't count then? Even though he was thinking of his son and fighting off the Cybermen, he still became a bit antagonistic. Attempting to destroy Mondas with the Z-bomb where radiation from the blast would've struck Earth and endangered Cutler's son anyway. Then after the Z-bomb fails to launch and communication with his son cuts off, Cutler's then about to ruthlessly shoot the Doctor, Ben and Barclay as consequences for his son's supposed death only to be killed by Cybermen.

Probably not, at least for a while. This was a really difficult video to make, and if I were to update it I would wait until there's a significant amount of stuff to add - and if I updated it after Series 11, it would set a precedent of updating it every year, which I don't want to do. If I ever do update it, probably the earliest would be at the end of Jodie Whittaker's era.

Hold on the Dalek emperor did have some cameos and had 2 brief appearances in different 7th doctor storys

Where are you getting that information from? And the Dalek Emperor never appears during the 7th Doctor's era. Davros pretends to be the Dalek emperor in Remembrance, but isn't really him and is the only 7 story anything resembling the Emperor appears.

I could have included it, but it's essentially the same as the Cyber-leader (both in terms of function and appearance; the Cyber-leader that briefly appears in A Good Man Goes to War has the exact same design). Although in that case I should have included it as the most recent appearance of the Cyber-leader, even though it does technically have a different name. I guess what ended up happening was it didn't feel distinct enough to give it's own thing, but it also would have felt weird to label it under a technically improper name. Oh well.

I thought it was the Cyber King in the Christmas Next Doctor episode and Cyber Controller in Tomb, Attack and Rise of / Age of Steel. Cyber leaders appeared from 1975 onwards and always had the black head pieces added to denote that.

You forgot the Rills from Galaxy 4 and the home planet of the Monoids is Refusis. Warriors of the Deep was 1984. You've missed Morbius. The Mutes were from The Planet of Evil along with the Shadow (it's in the script). Soldeed was a Skonnon. Skagra was from Dronid and therefore should be a Dronidian. Litton was from Vita 15 in the star system Riftan 5. Sil is from Thoros Beta.

1. The Rills were not antagonists. The Drahvins tried to make them look like bad guys, but they were innocent. 2. We don't know where the Monoids came from. The Ark's destination was Refusis II, home of the Refusians, but we have no idea where they got the Monoids from. 3. Which is why the year changes to 1984 when Warriors of the Deep comes up on screen. 4. It seems you've missed Morbius, seeing as he's at 10:10. 5. It is an alternative name for the same thing. "Third Planet" is what is used throughout the majority of the serial and is what's listed as their planet of origin on TARDIS Data Core. 6. I put a c instead of a k on accident, close enough 7. According to TARDIS Data Core, it is Drornidian. Even if that was incorrect, it's at worst a typo and again close enough. 8. I think you mean Lytton (seeing as typos seem so important to you). Planet of origin is irrelevant for individuals throughout this video. 9. Again, planet of origin is irrelevant for individuals.

Not to a completist Whovian like myself. It says he's from Dronid therefore should be a Dronidian. Lytton's planet is mentioned in Attack of the Cybermen, he is therefore and alien and should be counted as one. Vita 15 in the star system Riften 5. I saw some of the date change things but some were a bit out of sync with the stories. Sorry for the overt criticisms but as I say, I'm a completist

If you are a completist as you say, it would do you some good to double check what you're saying before criticizing, because as in my previous comment (and the one I'm currently writing) many of your criticisms are incorrect. 1. And if you're referring to ones that have the year change halfway, it's because those stories begin in one year and end in another, and would be inaccurate to suggest they only aired in one of those two years.

You're both right about Drornid/Dronid. Officially, the natives of the planet call it Drornid whilst the rest of the universe calls it Dronid due to a typo. Got this from the TARDIS Data Core, which lists its own sources.

Last time I watched The Leisure Hive, I didn't really interpret the Foramasi as monsters or villains. They were more victims. TARDIS Data Core (the Doctor Who Wiki) also doesn't list them as an enemy, which was my main source other than personal opinion/interpretation of what makes a monster or villain.

I recently watched The Creature from the Pit for the first time and Erato is not a villain in the story. In fact, they’re more of an ally in the story. Also, shouldn’t Captain Trask from The Highlanders be on this list rather then Perkins? Perkins is just an enjoyable fiddle to the main villain, Solicitor Grey, like Mr Fibuli in The Pirate Planet

If you count villains as people or creatures that need to be defeated by The Doctor then Erato counts because his missile needs sorting, even though Erato helped, similarly The Master helped The Doctor in some stories.

TARDIS Data Core isn't that reliable. The comics has the Destroyer literally flying out of the Void using Circle of Transcendence, where the defeated Great Old Ones try to bargain with Sutekh.

Really? It's the only source I know of that has such a diverse compilation of information from all over the Doctor Who universe, and from all sorts of media. To be fair, though, this is a compilation from the TV show only, not taking into account other forms of media unless necessary. If the information needed isn't available from the show, then I consult the TARDIS Data Core, which, as I said, compiles information from all sorts of sources and thus is likely to be the most accurate, with information considered to fit in with all media as best as possible. I feel it's a rather trustworthy source. It even takes information about the comic you refer to into account: "The Destroyer was one of the creatures that were released from the Circle of Transcendence. He went to Othros Mu and destroyed a large city. He was attacked by Sutekh and thrown back towards the Circle. This caused the flow of energy into the Circle to be blocked, preventing Sutekh from being sucked back towards the Circle. (COMIC: Old Girl)" I would imagine that there's some sort of context in the comic which means the Destroyer and the Beast aren't necessarily Great Old Ones. Out of curiosity, what is the context of the comics that would make them Great Old Ones?

Sutekh's recruiting Great Old Ones to help get his revenge on the Doctor. All the defeated Great Old Ones exist there since they can't die, where they attempt to bargain with Sutekh to help them get back into the physical universes. The Beast is referenced multiple times, an entity similar to the Beast emerges from the Circle alongside a God of Ragnarok and several other GOOs. The Beast is also from the 'previous universe' which is where the Great Old Ones are from
