That power shade is stunning! Ive kind of felt with some Westman Atelier products the shades seems to favor fair skin/cool tones better than my medium skin :( which is so sad because i love their aesthetic

Thank you! You have a point with their tones. They do not have neutral tones in their foundation so I blend two shades to get close to a match or just wear a bit of mismatch depending on the season and how much I can get away with it. haaaa

Hi Michi! Thank you for doing these comparisons. I purchased a few of Merit and WA matte lipsticks when they first launched. My favorite shade is Lacker - because light shades suit me best. In terms of comfort and wear time, both brands’ mattes are fairly equivalent. I do find that both the Merit and WA shades darken (oxidize?) within a few minutes after application. The main appeal for me is the “safe to ingest” list of ingredients - so I am a fan of both brands. Thanks again!

Hi Jocelyn! So nice to hear from you. ❤️ I am wearing Lacker today mixed with Merit’s Millennial. 😄 I love the shade both as is and toned down. I have no complaints in terms of comfort and quality. I think it comes down to shade preference and I feel better when a brand cares to go the extra mile for ingredients as well. I haven’t noticed them oxidize much in the first few hours but I also have dark lip pigment so I think it can appear deeper on me anyway. So happy to hear you like them.

They all look amazing in you! and yep, that’s what LFG means - used in sports a lot as as an acronym or the words.

I can't believe I've run aground on trying to find what the LFG acronym stands for - the only option I can think of is "Let's F*cking Go" but I really can't imagine Gucci Westman saying that out loud

Michi, I love you dearly, and I am thrilled for a great video, but I am not happy with Merit. They do not have a stockist in Australia, they do not ship to Australia and I really do not want to go via an international store to purchase. Especially with current postage costs. So, I am on Merit video strikes. Merit, if you are reading - please have availability for us in the forgotten markets. I have been asking for two years. I am your MARKET.
