Merkules is incredibly gifted. What I didn’t expect is that he’s actually a regular guy, too, a cool one at that. Last month I smoked way too much, and sent a stony but appreciative message to this dude around 3AM one night. Less than an hour later, I kid you not, he sent a personal message from his official account on Facebook. I was kind of dumbfounded. He talked to me like I was on the same level as him. Merkules is the real deal alright. I hope he sees this so he knows I’ve continued to explore his music. It’s all just really, really great. He gets it.

Can't help but think of my sister's late boyfriend who died 2 years when I listen to this song. He loved Kevin gates. I can't help but think he'd like this song as well. My sister used to give him shit for liking gates, but since his passing, she listens to him a lot more. Great song merk. Wish I found you before he passed so I could have shown him your music.

idk, the beat is sick, the flow is sick, but the lyrics? I can't relate to that. "I need 100k in allowance" "bought a rolex, I don't need to know the time" I think he passed the time where anybody could say anything to "keep him down" a long time ago, that just sounds like him flexing. But I think I'm missing a point of the lyrics... I don't think he was just bragging about how much cash he makes. That music video kinda seems to tell another story, and I didn't get it. And no I'm not hating here, I love his beats, flow, and a lot of his tracks are really relatable. this particular track I just couldn't relate, and I'll admit that I might not have really understood the meaning of the lyrics. Any interpretation would be greatly appreciated :)
