I thought I'd heard all of Merle's music but this is a pleasant surprise. Nobody has done as good a mix of country music as Merle and the older country musicians. You are missed.

What a Song and star .the biggest and best of all time for me anyways. In my opinion Merle haggard had the best voice off all time .he new his songs could and did touch so my people .I have lived my live growing up with his music .and it got my though tuff times .and still to this day 2022 .He his still the best for me .Good night Merle till I see you in Heaven Someday. Attractive woman country voice, singing with one of the best male country singers of all time. Of course they got together in a naked horizontal way. None of our business. It's sad that all the media concentrates on what should be private, for sensationalism, and not the irreplaceable talent of a gifted man, and a woman.

I was back stage security in the late 80s ,a woman walked up to the rope I was keeping people back and Merl was sitting on the stage coach fixing to go out to do the show when he shouts at this lady asking her to ride with him,I ask her if she knew him (which was obvious) and she said yeah I was married to him.The cute young blonde sitting next to him was his future wife and his ex wife Miss Bonnie was singing in the show.I got my parents in free and later got his autograph,R.I.P. sir

Merle first heard her sing backup for Loretta Lynn he thought she had one of the best voices he ever heard so he hired her.I think she had one of the best voice in country music and she is still going strong and touring.

They were each others first love & the love of each others life infact They loved each other until their last breath & my mother was very good friends with Merle & his wife Theresa!! May they both R.I.P As well as my beautiful sister Dana June Haggard. Until we meet again! ♡

Not only that ... these men cheat like crazy. I was with a traveling band in my early 20s .... the men ALL cheated while on the road. Not many that don't in my experience.
