I would never wish for fictional characters to be real. It would mean all that pain and loss is real. The reason I enjoy TV shows & movies so much is because they are not real so ik I can cry over them but at the end of the day, they're not real so they actually felt no pain. But ofc in find myself wishing some characters were real too, but in a fantasy world where no one felt any pain or death & it was just heaven. But where they didn't have bad pasts either bc i don't want them to have trauma lol ✨️😖🥹

Haha, I only finished Merlin for the first time ever like 2 months ago so I'm also late to the party but sooooooo glad I joined!!!!! Also, in case you don't know, once you've finished S5 go look up Merlin S6: Kingdom Come on Tumblr or search Balencian's channel on KZfaq-he does a fantastic audio version of the scripts! Sadly no real tv version as of yet--but I still remain hopeful!! And welcome to this amazing fandom!!!!!

This is so…. Ugh, every time I think about it I want to cry 😭😭😭 The S6 script was incredibly heartbreaking…. Especially all the flashback scenes *ENTIRE SERIES 6 SPOILER WARNINGS AHEAD!!!!* I’m especially referring to the scene right after Gaius dies and Merlin is so completely and utterly distraught that he is on the point of releasing his magic on the world to literally force Arthur to come back…before realizing what he has said and rejecting the thought 😭 He truly couldn’t bear the thought of living in a world where Arthur was dead. Also, his nightmares 😭😭😭 That scene in E3 where Arthur first realizes that Merlin has been reliving the scene of Arthur’s death (since he died no less…aka for 1500 years!) and Arthur can’t stand the thought that his death has caused his friend so much pain and guilt 😔 That’s why I loved E10, where Arthur finally helps Merlin get past his death and tells him, once and for all, that his death was NOT Merlin’s fault! Ugh, so beautiful 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 It also makes for a beautiful scene in E12 where Merlin is on the point of death and they basically replayed the whole scene again, but with the roles reversed-Arthur feeling so helpless and useless, Merlin telling him it’s ok, and he would have waited a million years more for him to return😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Will I ever get over this? No, probably not. Will I keep reliving these moments of my own free will and causing myself to cry myself to sleep on multiple occasions? Absolutely. Am I going to love it every time? You’re darn right I will.
