I have one simple question for you do you think it's wrong for a guy to want to swim like a mermaid the reason why I'm asking is because my family and friends all say that guys cannot swim like mermaids it just not right but I want to prove to my friends and family that guys can swim just as well as girls can like mermaids but no one is willing to help me to prove it they all say that it just not right guys are not supposed to wear mermaid tails if anyone has any ideas on how I might be able to get myself a mermaid tail please let me know my mother won't allow me access to a PayPal credit checks or e-checks but if anyone is willing to help and if there is a way to send a private message please do so it would really be a big help for me to be able to get a mermaid tail so I can prove to people that guys can swim like mermaids as well as girls can

Well I don't have any good advice on how to get hold of a mermaid tail but I can tell you there are a ton of mermen on youtube and Instagram so maybe you can show them that it's just people having fun and swimming and that it's also great exercise

As a merman from Atlantic Canada who's enjoyed splashing around in his own two tails for the past 12 years, I can GUARANTEE you that there are "guys that can swim like mermaids as well as girls can"! (Well, *I* can't swim as well as the girls can...but I can still swim in mer-tails!) Don't give up on your dreams!

I'd suggest training with a monofin first (usually people protest less about monofins) and saving up for a tail while you do. You could try to get someone you trust to order the tail for you? I know at least Mertailor has a tail line specifically for guys, maybe one of the Eco tails if it's your first?

You ever watch h2o just add water as a kid? It's on Netflix. You should watch how they swim in it. They don't bend their knees at all. It looks much more real and like a mermaid.

thei h2O tails are different from regular silicone tails, because it's neoprene with silicone on it and then plastic scales glued on and they have straps on the inside to close the back. the end is extended beyond the feet and that also conceals the knees. also mermaids are mythical creatures so I think knees are not that much of an issue. I do mermaiding myself and I use my knees for propulsion because otherwise I'd move at a snail's pace and heck I have knees so why not use them?

The H2O Tails are thicker and weigh a lot more because they had to shoot in a freezing cold ocean, so you can't see the knees easily.

Man! The lakes and rivers are frozen in Saskatchewan. Plus pools are super expensive and you look weird putting on a tail on the side of a pool, but I am still going to go to a pool anyway
