Thoes statues are amazing! I wonder how they wound up there. Maybe at one point that body of water was actually just wide open space like a big field or maybe part of a desert and the statutes were built there for some reason and over time the area flooded and became part of the ocean where Melissa was swimming.
@hannahdawg68292 жыл бұрын
Actually, they were deliberately put there by an artist and then left there so that underwater plants could grow on them. It's become it's own little ecosystem and it's really cool
@hannahdawg68292 жыл бұрын
Okay, I just googled it, it's off the coast of Cancun in Mexico and were sculpted by artist Jason DeCaires Taylor and are just one part of a massive underwater art museum that also doubles as a natural ecosystem since this was in a national park too. It opened in 2010 and while this is an old video it's amaxing to see how quickly it's transformed from just a few years after it's creation.

i love how calming and pretty this is but i have to say that the statues creep me out a little because they reminded me of the clickers in the last of us games... they look like humans that are rotting. i wish it was just the car or other inanimate objects... or basically anything that is not human. but i still love this video~~

Its an artificial reef to help build up new coral eco systems in areas that otherwise wouldn't have any. As you can tell, the fish and other animals are also living around it for protection.

@user-sh9nq2wb8e7 жыл бұрын
Great video thanks! But if your tail fin had elastic but rigid chords along the edges, you would swim much faster than now and spend less of your efforts. Now your tail gently lolls the water but does not allow you to accelerate efficiently and you quickly get tired. Need a more elastic but hard tail fin.
