One of the things I noticed is that although the monofin looks soft, it doesn't seem to collapse inward with each kick like a lot of soft monofins do. It appears to keep its rigidity in all the right places to give it a very fish tail like flow rather then curl in when swimming. That means it works well to swim in while looking even better then other soft monofins. I don't know what the creators of did to make it that way, but that is actually quite impressive.
