In this video, I'm trying something I've not done before. using netting to impress a design over some mega chunky glitter in clear acrylic. Then to fill it in and file it off to leave a white net. I think I could have nailed it the second time around. But on this channel, we bring you the real stuff, not that Photoshopped fake stuff we see other people doing.
I do still love the design and you never know, Mermaids might come back into fashion and you'll see me doing this again.
This video was made in Summer 2017, and now that we have our studio, we'll be producing some brand new content for you very soon.

Kirsty you look so young in this video!!! I love this so so so much. I'm guessing you could also keep the layers prior to to netting really thin (dependent on the glitter of course), add the white and efile to reveal the scales and then clear cap the entire nail to keep the indentation of the scales that the netting produced. I'm pretty convinced though it would be thicker than anyone would like. I think I know what I'll be testing this afternoon :) Thank you for the lovely video as always Xx

Kirsty, is there a way to do this technique using hard gel or a polygel/acrygel type product? I'd love to try this on myself but I don't do acrylic.

I’d like to see the scales outlined in gold instead of white!! Either way, they are beautiful!! Off to find netting to try this technique on a tumbler!!

I am 74 yr old lady, its very difficult to use acrylic for me as I cant work fast enough before it dries and I do shake a little LOL , so to do these nails I would love to see a video of using polygel instead ?

try a 5 second cure, i would still use a clear acrylic powder to dust your netting into

Don’t worry. Fay is one of Kirsty’s best friends, she has nothing to do with Naio. So you’ll be seeing plenty of her soon enough. Kirsty actually did a video with her the other day which is getting edited and features a brand new product not ready to be released just yet.

May offer advice? Please do away with the music when Kirsty is talking. Not only is it distracting but it competes with her voice. Otherwise, the videos are fantastic!
