You may have mentioned this, but they are supposed to work at any Disney hotel, so when you do your monorail crawl after leaving the park, you can fill your mug at one of those hotels before you journey back to yours. I'm hoping to find hot chocolate on the monorail loop this Dec. so that we can indulge in that while we look at the Christmas Decorations at the hotels. Also, staying at many of the more spread out hotels, it can be very helpful to have your mug with you and fill your mug when you pass the soda fountains so that you don't have walk all the way back to your room and then an hour later walk BACK to the lobby for a drink.

WOW!!!! Love this video!!!!!! You share lots of great ideas....many I have tried.... but the food idea-hmmmmm okay that's a winner for sure!!! I did have one extra idea that I have used my mug for would be adult slushy drinks! Our Refillable mugs work good to keep them cold on those super hot humid days!!! Thanks again!!!!!

I've stayed at Caribbean beach many times and they will give you a coffee cup if you show them your refillable mug! I wouldn't want my coffee in those mugs.

To get rid of tannins from coffee or tea, pack a small container of cheap dishwasher soap. Fill mug with a drop of dishwasher detergent and hot water. Let it soak . I do this at the end of the day. Tannins will come out.

I wondered how they checked the activation of the cup. I was a bit worried that they would put a sticker or tag to prove it was active; and I just knew my whole crew would lose theirs, lol. This is a great news!

I’ve found them at goodwill just for fun! I got a 50th anniversary one without the lid for 99 cents! I just got a resort one for $1.50 with purple lid last week to add some Disney fun at home!

At the Resorts, yes. But its Florida water and most don't like the taste which is why I suggest ordering Bottle Water when you can. Or get flavors for your water. Thanks for watching/commenting!

If you’re not a soda drinker but like coffee, it’s not worth the purchase because coffee & tea are free. The soda fountains only use the chip to work. I just used my personal coffee mug no problem. But the food storage idea is smart!

The new mugs lids are so much easier to clean than the older style. And you can get ever drop, the older style always leaves a good bit of liquid in it.

I’m staying 10 nights at beach club then 10 nights at animal kingdom lodge in July and early August- does the 10-14 day rule mean I will need to buy a 2nd mug for animal kingdom lodge. Both 10 night stays at connected on my Disney experience as one continuous holiday stay…….

Love cherry 🍒 coke 😄 can I just ask we are staying at 2 resorts 6 nights and then 4 nights but on two different reservations on the Disney app will We be allowed to use one cup for the whole 10 days

You only get the refillable mugs as part of the dining plan if you’re staying at a moderate or a deluxe hotel. You don’t get it if you’re staying in the value resorts.

For the "free dining" for UK customers, this is right. Value only included one QS credit per person - no snack, 2nd meal or cup. However you can pay to upgrade to the QS dining plan. We have done that because we want to enjoy the speciality alcohol drinks and more expensive options (and the upgrade difference was less than paying for plan usually aswell)
