I love this shoes I wear them everywhere

I'm hoping to do a fastpacking trip next summer from Nantes to Brest. Mainly canal towpath with some offroad sections. These look like they would be good. Also considering the Nike Peg Trail 3, NB More Trail and On Cloudultra.

These shoes float on my feet. I just ordered another pair. I agree that these seem to hold in more heat though.

Going to pick these up for running winter road and some trail in Canada. Hope it fits the bill for snow (sometimes slush) covered roads in -1 to -30 c temps. All it needs to do, is not absorb splashing slush like a sponge. You know...when the leading foot strikes the ground and the other foot swings past just in time to receive a splash. I definitely don’t expect waterproofness, nor do I want it. Not a big fan of goretex runners. I’d love to see more water resistant options for borderline freezing wet, slushy days. What should I choose please? Moab Flight or Speed?

Imo, the 30% recycled rubber in the outsole is junk. In my experience with hundreds of miles walking in Moab 2's with those SUPERIOR rubber outsoles, my Moab Speed shoes with the 30% recycled rubber easily slipped when I walked over any wet concrete, smooth rocks, or surface, etc. I will never buy their Speed shoes, or any pair, with that cheaper rubber compound again. No problem with dry ground, though. I'm so glad you mentioned that. Which leaves me to wonder how you knew that for I was in a Merrells store recently and looked over, and tried out walking in those shoes you are reviewing, and didn't find a way to know if their black rubber was with the 30% recycled rubber?🤔 Please let me know how an average customer could know at the time of purchase??? The shoe salesman could give me wrong information. Imo, Merrell should quit using this rubber, or make it conspicuous to any buyer that the shoes, boots, etc., are indeed made with this type of rubber. I'm a HUGE fan of Merrell for many reasons, especially for their slightly larger toe-box, but this needs to be addressed for the good of their customers. God bless.

Got mine for 60 using them at Disneyland parks here in CA walking 17+ miles a day has been a breeze!

Great review, I currently work in the Mediterranean region and run in similar conditions, dry hard packed conditions with plenty of small to medium rocks on the path….Nike Wild horse/Salomon Ultra Glide do great in this aspect. What are your thoughts on Inov-8 Ultra 300 for Croatia trails??? Thanks in advance

Should I buy this? I mostly run on paved/cement road and considering to buy this since I also do some trail running, however I'm afraid I'll wear out the vibram soles if I use it on paved road running.
