Congratulations on starting your art collection! And I totally agree about CEC and destroying the animatronics. I also try not to bad mouth them, but it’s a real shame that they’d do this to the thing that made them stand out from other Pizza Places. Their is some older (Tux Chuck) Era Art that I saw at the Annapolis MD store, and it reads “Make Magic, Without It We’re just another Pizza place!”. And it seems that CEC has forgotten that the “Magic” about them, is the animatronics! And that when they are gone, and destroyed, they are now “Just another Pizza place”.

I don’t remember exactly when I last went to this location (pre-covid) I saw that they removed the sky tubes (I used to crawl around in them) and games are different and moved around, memories, even though I didn’t go there a lot

Congratulations!!! That’s a beautiful piece. Reminds me of when I got my “Rolling Bone” poster from another dedicated CEC fan. So many I wish I could get, Flabby Road, Jasper google eyed poster, tuxedo ChuckE with his Star postcard, etc. But I love my Rolling Bone one. It’s great there are so many fans out there who actually own those pieces of history.

I know the whereabouts of Cyberamic Chuck E Cheese from the Tully Road, San Jose, California location. He's currently on display at Revival Collectables in Grand Liege, Michigan.

This is the neatest location with programmed animatronics to me, chuck e and helens turns have been broken since at least 2021 but it seems like helens is getting better! I wish you could have gone to akron ohio, it had a 1 stage and phase 3 (with shelves) before getting 2.0 last year

I've seen a lot of older tokens in the games at Bridgeville PA's Chuck E Cheese. It's remodeled, so no animatronics or good art, but I like that location. The employees their are incredible!

This was a great video! I worked here in 1999 when the showroom was enclosed and there were sky tubes along the back wall. The manager was Don Seaman, he was a kind man. I heard he went to Parma location after I left, hope he’s doing well. In that same plaza, closer to the Best Buy was the original Chuck E Cheese from the 1980’s with a Balcony Stage and King. I remember losing my glasses in the ball pit there haha. Since moving to Arizona, I haven’t seen the inside of this store in a long time. Thanks for posting!

I understand they want to do the 2.0 to be more modern but… destroying the beloved characters and throwing them out like they’re nothing is just not the way to go 😞. I really hope when my local gets the 2.0, I’ll be able to derive the parts of the animatronics from the dumpster and at least try to repair them or just keep them for memories if I’m unable to… the animatronics truly are an art and one that is sadly dying

I'm from Ohio, I used to go to the Chuck E Cheese over at Golden Gate Plaza which was a Studio C so I never really had too much attachment to the bots but I love learning about the history, and the mechanical and software stuff intrigues me. I had a chance to visit Mentor last year or so. I think the band looks a little better than I remember but I wouldn't trust my recollection I only looked at them for a little while. Really cool to see a Pasqually that's been presumably gone through, the difference is night and day, especially with the drumming movements. I hope they decide to keep some more locations. I was never as blown away with the current setup as I was hearing about the much older pre merger animatronics but its something that should definitely be preserved in at least some capacity larger than one location. Would be interesting if the animatronics could be tuned up a little but, but I know part of the appeal is the history and you dont want to change too much. Loved seeing you visit Ohio locations. If you ever want to pass as an ohioian I think it's pronounced "menner" by people who live there and I don't think there's a chucke in Medina but they pronounce that "mah dine ah" and Cuyahoga is "Kiya hogga" although sometimes there's more of a u sound there's other ways it's pronounced too im sure! The Mentor location is the location that had the two fails featuring Helen, one of the fails was when she got caught performing Gamin' Time without her jaw, and the other fail was when she got caught performing without the back of her head, but you can see where the back of her head landed by the end of a video, I don't know what song she was performing without the back of her head, but during the video, Chuck looks at Helen, then he looks away when she looks at him

I completely agree with you about about Chuck-E-Cheese I know that's what all the stores are instructed to do with the animatronics but that's a slap in the face to everyone no 2 ways about it I just think what Chuck-E-Cheese did was a PR stunt while it was nice a stage got saved it's all the way in California an the rest of America isn't California but really its so obvious the CEO of Chuck-E-Cheese doesn't care about the history of Chuck-E-Cheese's Otherwise none of the animatronics would be got rid of because whether the CEO wants to admit it or not without the animatronics there really wouldn't be a Chuck-E-Cheese as we know it today And the major thing is is everyone that grew up in the 70s 80s 90s and early 2,000s who now have kids of their own who wanted to share the magic of Chuck-E-Cheese and the animatronics to their kid's can't because they have gotten and are still getting cannibalistically ripped out All in an attempt by the CEO to act like that was never part of Chuck-E-Cheese's history because every know what the CEO is doing to Chuck-E-Cheese is sick on so many levels and IT NEEDS TO STOP BEFORE IT BANKRUPTS THE COMPANY AND PUTS THEM OUT OF BUSINESS

They are creepy but still nostalgic. $10.49 is cuz of the name. The cake Boss. seems pretty steep for a pizza place where you can get a whole pizza for that price and not a cake. I'd stick to bringing my own cake to the party.
