Karina G. Get/make a fabric one, they don't cost as much. You could also make a silicon tail but be prepared to spend $500-$800 dollars to do so. I got my budget for a DIY silicone tail down to $478.41 so it is possible, but that is about as cheap as they come for DIY silicone tails that I've heard of so far. To buy a hybrid tail, which is a combination of silicone and neoprene, costs from $500, $550, to $925. Hope this was helpful.

You can get one on fin fun .com for 100.00 with a monofin. I just got one it's so pretty.

But I would strongly advise starting your journey with a monofin, then add a fabric skin, and then after years of practice you can look into silicone tails. I've been swimming my whole life, been training specifically for mermaid swimming for 3 years, and just got my first silicone hybrid tail. when I swam for the first time it was very difficult and I would not have known how to care for, manage, or swim in the basic silicone tail if I hadn't spent so much time training. Believe me, I understand the need for one of these beautiful creations (I have wanted one since I was younger than you!) but I would highly recommend working your way up. My parents are going to submit the form in a few days once we make sure all my measurements are correct! I really love these tails and finally have enough money for one! thanks for the help.
